Weapon Fortune

Im doing mid and on ground

alright so with that im guessing ur build isnt massive or it might be but the main thing is knowing the distance of said enemy, if ur on console first turn off aim assist nd camera lock, second with those weapons u need to measure distance meaning aim the weapons up at said distances so they dont bounce as much nd they might have a direct hit on said enemy

Pc no aim assist build not that big 2k hp its is a mech to.

ya just main thing is just measure distance between u nd said enemy angle ur weapon up abit if needed nd they wont bounce around as much, but if u have special teammates who r always close to the enemies cuz they cant aim nd use their brain then they will just bounce off ur special teammates

XD XD i have alot of those team mates

they use to be good, but use them like shotguns, get close and shoot.
otherwise they do bounce everywhere and off ur teammates builds, turrets n stuff.
they are useless if ur not point blank range.
i have 2 for sale, wanna buy them? lol

i use them with no problem other then having special type teammates

heres the thing, i love fortunes, but aiming them while on the move is downright impossible. its very hard to describe what i mean but youll know once you do it.
ill try though
they dont fly where you aim when moving sideways, instead they have an arching curvature to them. instead of flying straight they fly with a curve to them. if your standing still they dont have that curve, but when you move thats when the aiming gets all wonky.
on battle walkers they are incredibly hard to use because of the way the battle walker legs move. they can throw off your aim alot and all your shots might not hit.
as much as i love fortunes they do have their flaws. i believe they still kept in projectile trajectory when moving sideways on things like battle walker legs and omni directional movement parts. if you want to see what i mean jump into one using omnis or atoms and strafe while firing the fortunes. its not just a problem with fortunes though, porcupines have the same issue. if you can overcome that and learn the trajectory and whatnot then your all set, but thats VERY hard to master and learn. i know this cause i fail at it all the time. :sob:

exactly while moving they curve which makes sense meaning u need to lead ur shot just like any weapon technically, just like real life u ever fired a cannon, u probably havnt but ill tell u this u gotta still lead ur shot even in real life

I think they are like Yongwang and Porcupines, in that the movement of your vehicle can give some of its inertia to your projectile.

Basically, there’s no particular trick other than practicing a lot with them.

The players I see doing well with Fortunes tend to play them on fast smaller builds. Wheels, omniwheels, or hovers seem to be the favoured movement parts.

favoured with aim assist nd cam lock cuz they have no brain to self aim lol

Aim at the enemy, rolls shots along the ground or over cover… off walls

I recently got a pair of fortunes and have been using them with some success on a copter build in pve and um…bedlam. <:D They’re pretty easy to use against a slow-moving build; against fast ones, I try and shimmy a little so at least one or two hit. It is important to lead the shot, but I haven’t found a way to lessen the bouncing action.

if you aim at ground they then tend to bounce higher…try to think of them as being similar to those balls made of hard rubber (those that bounce real high when you smack them into the ground…)

Lol i bought 2 the a few days ago they do have decent dmg though if you can hit the shots

The projectile speed fusion matters a lot on these I must admit, it gives them more range and glide distance

would cost to much for a fuze not really shure it would be worh it.

Yha you are defently right on point there and cant forgret hills XD even if you fire straight and they hit the hill at an engle some times the will trun with the angle. XD

Each to their own, they’ve been the best weapon in the game to me for the last 2-3 years. I have 1800 patches with them, they’re amazing but tough to use.
