And why the hovers are the ugliest :slight_smile:

They are a product of how the game works. I never go into the build mode and say “I really feel like making an ugly piece of :poop: today”

But these are the set of rules we are given and at 16k+ one second your alive and the next your dead if your not building to win.

When your up there even the casual players think they are pretty hard core :slight_smile:

That’s not really any different at any power-score, outside of PVE. There’s nothing special about 16k.

I wouldn’t know. I don’t play low or mid PS.

But by the way I hear people talk on the forum, they kill it with art builds at low PS. That’s not happening up that high.

So yes, there is a difference.

Well at any power score sharks smell blood regardless of the build style.

There is zero difference in competition between 4k and 16k+ PS. “Art” builds generally get destroyed in seconds. The difference is lower PS “newbs” don’t know how to choose an “art” build over a “META” build as targets, so you tend to live longer because you are not focused by every player on the opposite team.

It’s all opportunistic feeding at any PS and any mode in XO “pvp”.

I find the 8-10kPS range the most challenging personally, as there’s the widest range of possible builds, a higher concentration of very fast builds, and the player skill level is generally pretty high. Plus, most people don’t have nearly as much armour as you’ll find in high PS, so mistakes are punished very harshly.

But it’s also a range where a good player with a well designed build can do well with special weapons, even though they’ll be encountering at least a few relics each match.

Agreed
 and there are plenty of folks who - like me & you - can play at higher PS, but choose not to. You’re not dealing exclusively with dudes who show up with the strongest thing they can build. These are often players who are very adept at building AND fighting.

We go to the lower PS matches for many many reasons

I mainly play 8-12k range. occasionally higher, sometimes lower.
