I have max intelligence. They sell intelligence in the shop. But update after update, no new co-drivers. Why even invent Intelligence to never release new co-drivers to spend it on?
Agreed…once you get the complete collection of codrivers, further intelligence accrual serves no purpose. Most likely, the designers never had plans to expand it further than what it currently is.
On a lighter note…personally, I’d be glad to donate some of my unused intelligence to the clown who devised the paint recycling scheme. He needs all he can get.
How long ago did they introduce the last codriver? Was it Hertz?
It would be nice to have some more niche codrivers added. Like something for revolvers, or crossbows. I’d love something that buffed reload, or cooling.
Imagine if they made 100 intelligence tradable for 1 Crosscrown.

Really sucks they stopped making more codrivers, but then again I already predicted it when they rolled out the new codrivers and intelligence to begin with, that they loose interest and not develop it any further
Makes you question why even have intelligence in the first place, it was at some point going to be a huge thing as you can buy it with real money but then they just abandon the whole thing
I would be OK with them entirely reworking the co-driver idea.
Personally, I think they should take a page from RPGs with this, give us a vanilla robot Crash Test Dummy as an RC Driver (not co-driver) and let us build his attributes, maybe by dedicating experience points (like “intelligence”) to it’s abilities just like an RPG.
Or they can just discard the whole concept, and I’d be fine with that too. Since none of them buff rotation speed anymore, IDGAF.
If they do add more codrivers, that would be a great perk to give to one. I would pair it with a reload perk.
I do hope they add more, but how many do we really need? Under the new system, we have more than we did before, and I find most of them a lot more useful than the old ones.
I wish my memory was better, as I’m curious how much time passed between introducing the new system and when they added another co-driver to the list. I seem to remember a fair amount of time passing, which would suggest they could add more at any time. It’s also possible they won’t add any more, but it seems to me there are still some significant gaps that could be filled.
I honestly miss and preferred the Original (Co)Driver system. It at least had some progress and not just “get yet another currency, buy, and done”.
I wish they’d bring something like that back, but thematically instead have it be your “Mechanic”. That actually makes a lot more sense for an NPC doing something that helps improves your machine, and having these people from different factions bringing skills the player character lacks. Need to provide the Mechanic with “Intelligence” data also makes sense, so they can help tune your ride’s systems.
Also, perhaps have some of the perks be “Pick one of Three” style once you’ve unlocked the slot. Try to make them all a bit less rigid, such as do you want more speed, more power, or resistance to slow?
I wish we had at least a minimum of 2 codrivers per faction
And I would not care if there was overlapping codriver perks, like another one with +puddle size but then some other parameters
