I’m not sure how they got that high score, but for me, I can’t always get first place, +1 for first place, several points off if not, it’s pretty much the highest score I can do

I got bored of playing helicopter and all the other builds are not a helicopter. And the scoring system sucked.
Haven’t tried it since. I don’t care about the duck that much.

My max was top 28… lucky one. Going into top 10 is luck game, no skill. If you have luck then you can be top 10
Why luck you ask? because even if you have 4k+ score, you can get minus points easly with this ugly score rating.
Even when you are very good player, its often unavoidable to die too, and when you try have 0 deaths, then you have lower score and minus points anyway.
My only way to get + points now is to have 4k score and max 1 deaths and WIN game…
Now I just want to know how they got that high score, but I won’t be playing again anyway, my abilities are limited
my guess is that they take “friends” to play at opposite side and make them free kills…
or they are most lucky people in world to get to top 10, having very easy matches with noone focusing them.
when i play i often feel 2-3 copters on me… now imagine not to die in more than 1 minute when 3 copters attack you. Single copter is easy to avoid, but not more.
Because I played quite a lot of games, in the very early days, I reached as high as second place, and that was because quite a few players did not participate, then I lowered my score because I did not play seriously (and because other players started to play), I wanted to regain a higher ranking, I tried various methods but could not, until I became the player who played the most games in this mode, I realized that my ability plus the latency of about 130ms only allowed me to achieve this score, but I really want to know how those players with the highest scores achieved it, because I so many games make me believe that it is not luck
just like 1-2 weeks ago it was like 780 points max. now its 812…
my top 28 was when first player had like 780…

I have finally gained a point back after loosing points for the past 10+ games
which 90% were victories with 1-3 captures, 4-10 assist and 3-7 kills!
Went from (750-ish) points to (738) points in 3 or so hours of playing and bouncing up and down… Mostly down with the rating points.
Also. I have found out that EVERYTHING goes into whether you get or loose points.
While having Higher rating, as in (700+), gaining and loosing points MOSTLY depend on Deaths.
If you have No Deaths with Good score [2k+] you are Guaranteed to gain + points.
While on the other hand, if you have even 1 death and preform the Same as Above ^^
you are guaranteed to gain (+0) points… and a low chance for a (+1) point.
Now if you have 2 or more deaths… just say bye to your points.

Just to make it clear… It’s fairly easy to get all Cosmetic rewards from the event, as in the Stickers and Decorations.
Now for my opinion…
Is it worth playing?
Yes. It is. It can be really fun & enjoyable.
Are the Cosmetics worth playing for?
In my opinion. Yes. It’s not hard to get them.
Should you even Try to get the 50th-1st Place rewards?
Honestly, No. The amount of time that I have spent playing, looking for tactics, places and mechanics that I could use to my advantage to further up my score to get to at least the 50th place for the Epic crate, after realizing that no matter how good you or your team do, dying 2 or more times that you are guaranteed to go into Minus points.
The scoring/ranking/rating, or whatever you want to call it, system is completely broken and set so that only the ‘cheaters’, as I call them, to win… As in… Organized players who have the resources to beat everyone else. Basically; clan members and multiple friends.
[AS OF TIME OF WRITING POST] :
In the top 50, there are only 9 Solo players, meaning they’re not in a clan.
In the top 15, there are 3 different clans with Multiple members who have the most rating points.
Clan 1 ~ 2 Members | Places : #5 and #11,
Clan 2 ~ 3 Members | Places : #1, #4 and #12,
Clan 3 ~ 4 Members | Places : #3, #6, #7 and #9.
In the end, I will Attempt to play a Few more rounds and see if it’s even Possible to come in Top 50 for the Crate reward. If it doesn’t go my way as a Solo player, I shall give up and let others attempt to take the prize by giving them my spot.
While i agree about cheaters in top 10/15 (myself i once had max top 28 with big luck)
but i disagree its just about clans, since solo players also can have friends who can boost them.
Its that 15-50 places clan people are mostly there because better players are “usually” in clans.
Its just about specific people who organize other friends to make them more points when they play in opposite team.
If i would want, could do same, but im not that kind of person.
Also i cant say Everyone in top 15 was like that, because some very good player and very very lucky while playing, might be able get there somehow. But since you noticed there are just some of same clans there, its very visible they just organize to cheat up system. Or they just know some workarround way (exploit) in the point system they ofc do not share.

My point is… there is a Lot of people who cheat the system just for their own benefits and it’s just sad…
As you said, anybody can get friends on and farm them, but that’s just unfair and… I don’t really like to use this word but… it’s imbecilic.
It’s sad to know that people will gladly snatch a place away from some possibly new player who’s just looking to unlock some new items that they have probably never seen before, and/or a F2P player who doesn’t have much and is just trying to add onto their same and old, boring weapons, cabins, modules… whatever.

When I start to wonder how people are ranking up in seasons like this, then I see how many hours they’re playing, it’s all makes sense.
I played for about a half hour today and felt I’d wasted enough of my life in front of a screen… Went on to other things.
Or priorities are different. Clearly.

20+ hours a week on a game is not healthy… I’m not being judgey… That’s just… Wow. Scary.
in many cases yes, but some people even playing whole life still would play very bad.
Some people also get account from friend - know one person like that.
Some people dont need much time to learn new game mechanics and play well,
for example myself dont have too many games, but was top 28, some days ago.
So would not count it as some criteria.
