maybe not but it wont stop people from trying to price gauge others.
The whales will not be capable of doing that, ammo crates will be as common as wheels or something else that is compulsory to have a functional build or almost.
I don’t know how much i will need or if i need it at all.
My drones, i play only with four, just very recently i’ve been playing with 6 and it’s enough, because i’m used to play with four. I do have micro factories but i only use them in operations ( radiance and such ).
Due to how i play my sidekicks or hawks i cannot afford to have micro bombs on board of both my punching bags… ( that lost durability and melee capabilities a few months ago )
It’s too soon to say anything more definitive.
But perhaps i can play MGs or SGs like i played my drones so far…starving for ammo, deploying them in key moments where they can be the stronger ( depending on their type)… maybe i can’t, let’s see…
But, for some time now, MGs and SGs cease to be my main guns… but i have plans to renew my SGs builds.
It’s simpler but they can’t capitalize on it, the easier for them is to limit the ammo, not increase it.
We are not talking about avengers, but other weapons where they find it’s worth it to capitalize on it , a module or two more in every build…

Personally I find that limited ammo for everything goes in the right direction. It will force some amount of choice to everyone : Do I spray and pray at long range for meager damage with my medium range weapon, or do I wait a bit to save ammo ? Before that was a no brainer because of unlimited ammos. I also agree with the devs that in the end of a match, a player with an unlimited weapon was at an advantage against a limited weapon user. As people said before, ammo crates are easy to make so that should not be a problem to add a few of them to a build.
