Here is what’s gonna happen the update comes to pass and the need for ammo for every weapon is going to cause for players to buy up more of the rare and epic ammo crates, which in turn will cause the prices to skyrocket. Players new to Crossout would need ammo crates for more of their builds, but unfortunately the price of crates will be too high causing, more and more players too stop playing Crossout
Crossout was once an awesome fun game
Where is the fun
Destructors: limited ammo
Triggers: limited ammo
Kaiju: limited ammo
Assembler: limited ammo
Helios: limited ammo
Prometheus: limited ammo
Synthesis: limited ammo
And all for what? The Devs were bored!
as far as i can see 98% of all stuff on the market is to expensive for me to get
limiting things that are already mediocre at best makes me think about quiting in general
not only that you have to face cheater in every mode you are in , overdone prices that makes items unobtainable , and a buged endless grind for scraps you will run the risk to run dry on ammo ??
Actually my very thinking was that the ai came around because there is not enough fanboys like me so the devs is now filling in the forum with bots linked to chatgpt because the forum population is pretty low.
The devs will need to add a ammo crate to the beginners tutorial to compensate. They gives out all kinds of free rares at the very beginning for new players so if they adds a rare ammo crate or 2 that might help out new players but I doubt that will help out much when it comes to player retention cause it is bad regardless.
Guys, there already is a rare ammo crate, and it is craftable. Even if it did get expensive on the market, you can just craft one. Plus I’m pretty sure one comes with at least one of the free packs.
You could probably grind out enough resources to craft one in an hour, if you do your daily challenges first.
And the epic ammo box is also craftable. If it gets expensive on the market, just craft one. And then craft another to sell, and enjoy the profits.
There are lots of things you could complain about regarding the proposed changes, but freaking out about ammo boxes going up in price is not something anyone needs to worry about.
Here’s the thing Pooney, everything that is required for the crafting of ammo crate the weapon, module, wheels, ETC it’s all going to add up to the same price it is on market
I’m not sure I understand what you are saying.
Buying vs crafting can vary quite a bit. But if it’s expensive to buy, that means it is likely cheaper to craft. And if the ingredients you need are expensive, craft those too.
I don’t think that will happen.
I believe he prices of ammo crates will go down., they are going to crash, everyone will need them, the cheer volume of them in the market…
But wasn’t his original post saying that ammo box prices are going to skyrocket, putting them out of reach of new players?
I mean, I know the PC market is very different from console, but math should still work the same on both. If ammo box prices did skyrocket, than it would be cheaper to craft them.
But I would say it’s unlikely that would even happen, because as soon as it become more profitable to craft the ammo boxes, people will do that, and then prices will come down again.
you think the whales will let that happen? theyll buy out the ammo packs then try to sell them for twice the price. its how it goes in videogames…
what i dont understand is why they are making this so complicated. the solution to this problem is very simple. just give all reloading weapons more ammo to work with. alot of these weapons have very low ammo counts as is so why make everyone suffer for it?
Ammo boxes are not an item where the supply is limited.
There is no way for whales to buy them all up, because we will just make more.
And as far as new players go, the rare ammo packs are cheap to make, even if they did get temporarily expensive on the market. And every new player should already have a rare ammo pack for the various rare and common items that use ammo.
This is not like a pack only item, where limited supply can lead to inflated prices.
