no, this is a legit question, why the H-E double hockey sticks is this thing so big?!
if you want to put this into perspective the big G is smaller then this stupid thing.
toughie is
4L x 2W x 4H
big g is
3L x 2W x 3H
its a 1 energy generator, why is this thing so big??
easy, they want u build bigger builds for these cramped maps .
i say give us options to upgrade and pay coin or something to add perks instead of all these dumb modules/engines .
pick a combo that works for you.
5 out of 10 settings u choose from, in theory …
but there is Alot things that can be downsized …weps/modules/engines/apallo/gas gens
yeah really… some generators are far to big, hell you want a good example of something thats far to big look no further then the yeti. that things so big you could only fit it on a massive build.
The toughie is a heavy generator. The 3x3x2 rare and special generators are light generators. The rare and special heavy generators are 6x4x2. Thus, toughie is smaller than the higher tier heavy generators. The epic light generator is 6x2x2. So 4x4x2 = 32 cubic. 6x2x2 = 24 cubic. So, the toughie is larger than the Epic light generator too. The Bootstrap is clearly larger. The Thor light generator is finally larger than the toughie. The Apollo is of course huge.
So, the toughie should be 4x3x2 to equal the size to the Gas Generator but still be larger than the epic and special light generators, but the difference is only 8 cubes.
So, whatever, I like it.
Light generators are always one less energy than the heavy one in their class, so a light common generator would be 0 energy.
Not super useful, but I guess you could stick it to the front of your build as a free lance?
Maybe they should make one for April Fools Day.
For some reason I thought this generator was 2x2. It’s useless at best being 4x4. You can’t even fuse to it maybe justify having slightly better durability. Even then, you can add armor on two sides of the Big G in the same 4x4 space.
Matchmaking isn’t restrictive enough for the +90 power score increase when using the Big G. If you’re playing over 6K, ±500 power score is practically no difference in matchmaking.
I guess it’s suppose to be a generator for brand new players who are doing easy raids and the adventure mode. They need their power score as low as they can get it to make the enemies easier to fight. It’s still impractical. They’re better off using a higher energy cab or removing a not needed module. It’s not like a brand new player is going to know about raid difficulty scaling.
