You can teleport from one location on the battlefield to another at the expense of not just power that may stop working for a while after use
Shhesh… Thinking about the implications of that. I’m not sure I’d want that (on the other team, anyway ).
I’ll try anything but I’m sure the MadMax guys would hate it.
Yes, I thought about it, it consumes energy, after using it there will be a period of time when nothing can be done, and there is a charging time, if it directly reaches the opposite crowd it is the same as looking for death, and every time it is used, it is necessary to go through thought
Maybe a way of balancing it would be if you teleport into scenery or another car you lose all overlapping parts instantly? And make it a little tricky to set where you teleport to.
They could make it a static feature of the maps, like portholes.
This might also have strategic applications that could make the overall game map more interesting, rather than make phat inventories even more advantageous for the privileged few.
Warp holes would be fun/funny.
I vote yes.
There’s a shape that warps around itself that I suggest on the old forum for a really weird map. I thought it would be fun though…
I don’t think existing engines can do that
I think it probably could be done but would require a lot of extra steps.
Think the best way to do this is a ray trace line, you warp in a direction a short distance if the line intersects with something you teleport next to it or into it. next to it if map so you can’t teleport out of the map, into it if an enemy.
Just imagine this
No clue how the dawns children broke the speed of light, but they did. this thing allows something to jump forward as if teleporting a short distance sadly it takes a lot of power to do so.
energy cost: 3
module HP: 175
teleportation: teleports one upto 75m in the direction they are moving, if contacts an enemy during the jump counts as if ramming them at 120KPH and deals 100 damage to the blink module. Lances will not detonate from a warp.
