Wolf pack weapons review

Morgan (Revolver) functions very well with Manitou, basically after using the Manitou perk, you won’t loose the perk until you empty out your gun and do a normal reload, so if you keep shooting 1-2 shots but not all three, you can have the Manitou per up for the entire fight. I hope it is intentional, it’s about the only good thing these guns have going for them. The damage, rotation speed, firing speed is all solid, no artificial accuracy reduction like the Nagual, but the guns simply have no hp for their size. Pretty ok for a stay in the background and take shots at the enemy kind of a gun but the reload is atrociously slow even with the perk fully stacked, and it has a very fun problem where if you have the guns on the same firing button, it’s so accurate that one bullet hits and the other flies through the hole you just made, stacking up the perks at a differencing pace so your guns are not reloading in unison and if you are trying to do the whole shoot 2 shots but not all three of them, you end up accidentally emptying out 1 gun because the other is reloading that much faster and then you have to take a really long time to balance them out and use the Manitou perk again, like what feels like a solid 20 seconds.

Gonna make separate posts per gun if the text gets too long

Cicada is solid, just all around solid, nothing too op but I could not call it mediocre, it’s fairly good. The perk is nice, damage is nice, everything is nice, the only downside I can think of for the gun is that the rate of fire for the missiles thanks to the perk is kinda slow, but if you’ve played any of these missiles before nothing you can’t adjust to in a couple of matches. Everything about this line of guns (wasp-locust) applies to these but these also seem to have a bit more elevation compared to Locusts so you should not run into the problem of not being able to aim up enough when moving forward with a hover for example. Kind of basic though, nothing special, nothing wow, it’s just a better missile weapon of this type than the epic one. Does not outclass everything right away, some people might not like the way it works and the “lengthy volley” but it’s not bad enough to really get worked up over. If you play Locusts etc, this will fit like a glove

This is the best weapon in the pass straight up (excluding the op damage output of Squall) and honestly, it’s just an all around better Slaughterer. Range is amazing as it’s in all intended purposes and function, more like a rocket launcher than a grenade launcher. Think Yokai but instead of shooting at the ground, you can shoot at the enemies. “secondary fire mode” is amazing, but the damage even without it is there, both modes work just as good, No need to charge your shots, good hp, solid damage, kinda heavy I guess. Basically Slaughterer 2 instantly makes Slaughterer obsolete.

Squall
Can’t have a pass without an insane OP what were they smoking-tier gun. Instantly deletes everything, does 5k damage to a build halfway into the firing volley even if only 1/4 of the missiles hit the target, low energy so you can run 1-2 with absolutely everything, just instant deletion. The only downside it has it the long reload but because it’s so low energy rather than a “main gun” you won’t struggle with it at all. This gun instantly makes Heather, Mandrake, Incinerator, Swarm, Jubokko, Yaoguai, Dove, King, Vulture (not like it ever had a chance even without Squall existing) and basically everything obsolete. There is no reason to run anything for a support, like Trombones or an aurora, any drones or mines, anything because this thing now exists.
No reason to even grade it, it’s that much above everything else

also it never runs out of ammo. if you use only 1 or 2 ammo it doesnt deplete from the ammo cache and just gives you unlimited ammo. still though the reload speed is bad after only shooting 2 rounds.

dude this thing is INSANELY busted. it destroyed my leviathan in little time and did over 16k damage. and… it was only half way through its life time :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
i really want to see clips of someone taking down helis with this cause that would be REALLY mean lol.
and yeah my build didnt last 2 seconds against this. basically instant 3000+ damage.
the max number of these on a build is 2 and even i think thats overkill… :face_with_peeking_eye:

Morgan’s perk appearss to be broken, each charge seemed to slow down how fast it reloaded rather than speed it up, in test drive usage.

As I understand the Morgan, charges do not affect the autoload feature. Each subsequent autoload always takes longer than the previous one and this increasing duration is reset after the regular full reload. And only this full reload is sped up by the charges.

That just leaves me scratching my head and wondering what is then point of mechanics of the weapon, then. To reach seven charges means you’re firing single shots which are taking about as long to individually auto-reload towards the end, as it takes to reload after rapid-firing all three on a target constantly instead.

’ SQUALL ’
you can’t use it patrol, the Bots just kill it ’

this wep is useless, dont shoot it at a build they kill it.
don’t buy it it does nothing…i got 0 points in a few matches already…
if that little thing gets killed it game over…

i ate 12k coins buying this crap !

They look cool but I think every weapon in this pass is very boring

I had that problem with the last pass, Jupiters, Charons and Tritons just weren’t doing it for me, dunno why since I love the Morta and think that Lucifers are…
uhhh…
They have…
Have a…neat…idea behind them?

But yeah I kinda like how more down to earth these things are, I like retro designs more than futuristic ones

Hello, can someone help me with a problem, all my items from Battle Pass 15 have disappeared and the market is also blocked. It’s been like this for a week. Please help.

at least the darling mechanic is slightly unique

I liked Jupiters and I have 2 still… non-fused because I wasn’t gonna pay for them.

They’re easy to use but hard to master, anyone with dual Jupiters who get ran up on at close range will usually just fold immediately… they’re not smart enough to split their buttons and get the perk bonus using it correctly at close range.

I enjoyed using them as an area denial and such, but also being one of few to split the firing buttons to be able to hold my own in a fight.

You’re right about the other 2 weapons tho, just noob guns, point/click/ram guns… To me Morta was boring, someone described it as “firing bubbles at your enemy” and I felt that summed it up well… as it had no real feedback when using it… recoil, explosion etc was missing and I couldn’t enjoy it. Lucifer also felt like it looked as if it was doing a lot but wasn’t… each to their own I guess

It is, but I bought one to try it out… and it just felt boring…

It may be unique, but not in a way that feels unique?

It’s basically like having lag on your projectile… the first X meters are slow and that’s about it

I think the main reason for my love for Morta is nostalgia to the Quasar back before it had gotten all those projectile speed buffs (first gun I really started to do good with way back in the day), a very slow moving projectile can lead to some very neat rick shots when you manage to pull them off, it really takes me back to doing that with the original quasar so many years ago. Also the energy shield function is kinda neat, denying a shot of a slow reload weapon is also very satisfying, the rare times it happens.

Performance wise yeah it’s not the best thing ever but I find it to work good enough, definitely not on the worser side like many weapons in the game or my inventory, never really had the best weapons in the game at any time due to high prices so it feels like it’s on the upper end of medium efficiency and better than most of the guns I have. Definitely the best high-energy gun I have (Avalanche is better but for me this one just feels more familiar and easier to use)

The most satisfying boom out of this gun is after taking 3-4 shots through an enemy and popping off most modules/ammo boxes/generators in succession, usually nuggeting them to a degree. But yeah other weapons can do the same to an enemy in a more easier and faster way. I think the most unique thing about it is how it focuses on destroying stuff internally rather than externally, usually fighting enemies with this leads to them looking untouched on the outside but hollow on the inside.

The biggest downside though is that this gun really can’t shoot off guns or any parts specifically unless by accidentally while dealing damage to the entire enemy build, which leads to getting shot off really easy due to how huge it is and not being able to damage things like movement parts or guns as you engage an enemy

I get what you mean, as I used to play Phoenix’s before they made the projectile super fast with barely any drop… it was slow and with a high drop off… leaving it with a high skill floor.

It’s why I like Dooms and Fortunes… the things you can do with them like bouncing them, rolling them… variable speeds with the Dooms etc…

The 3-4 shots thing reminds of Jupiters… and shredding builds from above, had a bit of fun with that… the gun was easy but the rhythm with my Satori drift car made it fun, and spitting my fire buttons to use them correctly at close range felt good.

Have you sent in a support ticket? Stuff like this has happened before.

Lexi use bubble beam!
