Yongwang

The funny thing is, I’ve never made a face hugger build with it myself, but I see other people succeeding with that strategy.

Damage can actually be pretty good, if you’re running a bunch of legendary modules to get the perk going. What kind of build did you test it with?
I find harpy helps a lot, but there are other cabins that are also good at boosting the damage potential.
And while movement parts can block them, if a few get under the build it can be devastating.

The yongwang is a niche weapon. It takes practice and form to work properly. Ive nearly mastered it and it is my favorite weapon by performance. I can get 1-2k damage shots out on enemies. You want to use it on a heavy dog build, mount it on a jackie, add a cyclops, a stealth module, cheetah engine, and a oculus. I use this combo on mars cab, my stealth module of choice is a simple chameleon mk-1. I also use a gasgen with it, and titan wheels. At 13k ps with 5k durability. Its an actual monster and will plow through anything. Its projectiles actually count as mines, therefore they can go through shields an deal devistating blows to the enemy. I highly recommend it to anyone who is willing to work hard enough to get it to work. But its a lot of fun when you do.

Anyone else feel like any build using this gun needs a daze to work properly? The only time I get any success with it is when using with Daze

Daze works well with it, but now that the rarity of modules impacts the damage buff, I’ve had more success sticking to legendary modules.
But if you don’t have enough legendary modules, Daze is definitely one of the best epic modules to use with it.
