Average kills per battle

Lots of cope in here

:joy:

    1. A long ecclesiastical vestment worn over an alb or surplice.

I don’t think that most people try to boost their stats. I honestly think most people don’t even care or don’t even know it’s a feature.

I have played most my Crossout time with guys in top 10 CWs. I have played with hundreds of people in Clan wars and I have meet some pretty big headed and Ego inflated dudes, but I have never personally been is a CW voice chat where anyone ever talk about KD.

We were always to busy playing the game and having to much fun. Also different rolls in CWs comps get different kill ratios depending on their job.

For example, during the Typhoon META we had months where we would run 3 hover typhoons and 1 defender Breaker or firedog. In this comp the 3 range guys stay back and fight as much as they can from range, the dog player plays defense and grabs anyone that try’s to get in on the range players.

In this above example we had many games where you had to save the last guy on the other team so the dog player could get his 40pt to get Ore.

But he was doing his job, defend. His roll was just as important as the range guys.

People that don’t play all mode and PS levels in this game can not understand that sometimes NOT getting kills is the right thing to do in a match.

This game has many play styles - Kill Stealer is just one of those.

Yeah some are just worse than others

I think it’s Poony or Doc that has said as much before. When I’m in PVP, I definitely feel that way. I’d rather win the match with fewer rewards than farm resources and risk losing.

That’s PVP, though. In other modes, I’m generally being a clown. I mean… a productive clown, but yeah. Play the room you’re in , right?

Why not win, get MVP and a high kills per match?

Maybe some people just have higher goals

Half the time I grab some beer, and see what kind of clown I can be in PvP  lol

Just depends on what kind of mood I’m in.

But pretty much unless I’m playing CWs none of this game is serious to me.

  1. The Kill Per Battle statistic only counts Missions. No PVE is counted. You can divide the numbers yourself for proof.
  2. Long time players got screwed when they changed from Kill only to Kills and Assists. Players would steal your kill to boost this Stat. When the Trials and Badges were released, the Developers changed the requirement to help the Trials be completed more quickly.
  3. I play Drones just to raise this Stat because why not? Gives me something to do.
  4. Spraying everyone with bullets in a real Mission does not guarantee that you will get the assist if they never die. You have to hit them a little and make sure they die. I hit plenty of enemy with my Turrets, but they do not die. In Patrol they most likely will die.
  5. Ram everyone and if they die then you get an assist!

It was actually always kills and assists, except years back you would only get an assist if you did damage to the enemy up to around 10 seconds before they died. Sadly now you can just tag 1 damage for an assist.

This is why I say to cross reference their MVP ratio with their kills per battle, someone doing minimal damage for all the assists then they’re unlikely to get high scores and therefore MVPs, as Monkey pointed out.

That is indeed true, failing to secure the kill consistently will make such a tactic pointless at increasing the stat.

PVE as in Adventure & Raids… Patrol counts, I believe. Technically, that’s PVE.

Right??? :man_shrugging:

This. You can fake a somewhat decent kdr, you can’t fake 25%+ MVP/Unyielding rate

… Well, you can play exclusively 3999PS Yaoguai and fake both, but that’s Targem being targem

Patrol is a Mission and PvE at the same time…

Yeah, my logic got flawed there, but Patrols are Missions, they satisfy the Mission challenges. But I forgot they are PVE too, as the Bots are not Humans, but the Patrols are considered PVP for the KPB ratio.

That was for the Scoreboard and your Score. Assists before 15 seconds had passed counted and kills for the Score, but only Kills counted toward your KPB for my first 70,000 Missions.

Now, I have to overcome those 70,000 Missions when raising my KPB, it is slow progress.

You were good to have a 2.00 back then.

That is why KD and Patches are also BS.

Because some of us started at the beginning of the game, and those people had the first few years of all their patches deleted.

They used to have an “Archive” section.
If you have played long enough you will remember.
Now that is also gone.

So for the people that started at the beginning they most likely where more excited about the game the first few years they played it and put a ton more time into the game then they do now.

And all of those badges are “poof” gone.

There are also a ton of factors that will get good players less MVPs

For example - top 10 clan guys that run in 4 man teams.

Now, you know for a fact they are all good, but only one will bring home the MvP and the other 3 get none.

And these dudes play hours and hours on end.
Most of them never play solo.

How does that negate the current stat page?

You can simply go and check if that person started playing back then by checking their medals and given them some benefit of the doubt.

The change was Feb 2019, so less than 2 years worth of a 6+ year games worth of stats… so about 1/3? That happens to line up with what I have anyway…

New:

tGD9maA

Old:

so maybe slightly use this if a player has played for enough time

It does suck that they removed those old stats, although I’m glad I had some old screenshots to go off…

But it still in no way negates the current stat page as a way to gauge a players ability to perform well by getting MVPs

The only way this could even remotely be negated is if the player in question had simply gotten much worse at the game since those old stats were recorded, but if they’ve gotten worse then that says it all and still works as a gauge like I said before.

I know clans that only play in stacked groups and they have good stats

For someone who says they don’t care you really seem to have a lot of cope regarding it.

Keep grasping at straws, a high KPB and MVP% is a great gauge at a players ability. No one is spamming patrol (lmao), removal of old stats makes no difference to the newer ones being on display to judge from; you can give the benefit of the doubt to older players if you feel necessary. Grouped players usually have good KPB’s and tend to alternate MVPs… if a player within the group is consistently doing better then the rest and getting those MVPs… then they’re just better and are most likely performing better than the others; but as we said before, it’s abotu lookign at both the KPB and also MVP%, if you already know these players are good but have less MVPs due to playing in a group… then you don’t need those stats because you already know. Moot point bro.

Keep trying Mr. I don’t care

I’d much rather see each weapon listed then have for each:

Match type (x,y,z…): avg dmg per match, avg kills per match, avg assists per match

To me this would be a lot more useful then trying to judge using badges and the KPB stat as it stands currently.

There could definitely be much better stats on show

As long as the stat includes ANY bot kills and assists, its garbage. This means in the regular pvp with half bots…

Anytime a kill ratio isn’t limited to actual kills and or includes AI bots the stat is meaningless.

That is all.
