Battlepasses: stop with limited part production

Line from battlepass update:
" * Recipes for new parts production. ATTENTION! These recipes will only be available temporarily during the current season. Once it is completed, the part recipes will be unavailable. In the future, recipes for new parts may be available as part of future seasons or in-game events."

I wish they would stop doing this. It seems to only benefit the whales who have the inventory to craft multiple items so they can sell them later. It punishes everyone else.

To make things worse, not a lot of events allow players to craft more. Example: Stillwind and Vindicator were not craftable in this Summer’s Knight Riders’ event.

Why can’t they allow players to craft the parts whenever they want after they unlock the blueprint?

No shit? A “limited time offer” is the oldest trick in the book to coerce the feeble-minded into spending their money. The entire game is built around predatory business practices like this. Nothing is by accident.

Limited time offer!
Somehow you don’t complain about that anywhere you see it in life, yet in XO you want everything to be perfect. Weirdos.
I’m not making excuse for devs, but I don’t sympathize with hoarders that just try to have everything and complain on failing on having everything.

On PC stillwinds are currently on offer for 5.2K coins.

Good. They are available for purchase any time. Isn’t that awesome?

The old battle passes had blueprints that didn’t expire. Please explain to me why I’m a hoarder and a complainer.

I much preferred the old method too as we didn’t have artificially inflated prices.

If I want it - I’ll get it for any price. Maybe later. If it’s a limited time offer - you can sacrifice some things, sell some junk, and get it. If you can’t - you haven’t progresses long enough to have that thing. Some weapons do have higher price. That means they worth it. If they so good - probably better not to have too much of them in the game. Or will you say something communist now?

You haven’t addressed my first point. The old battle passes had blueprints that didn’t expire. No one cares that you’re willing to spend an extra 2000 coins to obtain something.

None cares if you are not.

Devs are in the right to change anything anytime. Go read ToS. Theoretically you should have before started playing. I bet you’d run in terror when you read them because basically that is a huge disclaimer that makes devs owe nothing at all and entitled to do anything. Any game ToS are like that. And some not game ones.
The whole thing only holds on that good will of devs, and reputation to run the thing.
So basically you just protest to the changes…
Might just go like “give everyone equal weapons for fair fighting chances” Which is quite weird since this is f2p MMO.
You know, the only thing strange I found in this game is this kind of tradition in community to see devs as incompetent twisted being faulty of making such a terrible game(which in fact much more humane in a lot of ways than almost any other MMO)

Wait until you hear this… It might be the Devs game, but the players help fund and populate the game. They have to appeal to the players or else they will quit. And no one wants to support a dead game.

Ever heard the saying “Vote with your wallet?” The devs had to revert back to longer battlepasses because not as many people were buying the shorter battlepasses. I hope people put their foot down with the limited crafting time too.

Good point. I don’t think though people buying battlepasses and people complaining are one group. Also its probably a clumsy move to make them forever first and then change things to have people calling “give it back” but well, sounds more like a “catch by the toe” than a good request.

Most items of a given rarity fall into the same price range unless they are artificially inflated or are pack items. The changes they made via restricting the item blueprints only serve to enrich a small portion of the game. There was also a large number of player complaints made when they originally announced the changes too.

The temporary workpiece blueprints are not always even the same recipes and are sometimes even highly discounted so it’s not as if releasing the originals would devalue those by much either. This can be seen even in some of their events when they awarded normal faction item blueprints.

Can just say that about market feature in general. How many players got enriched by exploiting the very nature of marketing? I myself was making 200-400 coins per transaction reselling and buying forest camo, and those are trinkets according to what I heard some made. Only stopped it because I got tired wasting time on playing with price bets for some in-game currency and fancier stuff that gets you nowhere.
Why do you think they add it in seasons instead of just making it craft-able anytime? Adding more limitation is only same move in that direction. Although I feel arguing is depleted at this point, we’ll just leave at each his own positions. You claiming more availability and me just accepting thing as they are. Autocannon from invis doesn’t sound like a nice thing to have in mass in the game anyway.

Not when the supply of them is ever decreasing, someone buys enough of them or starts fusing them for a specific set of bonuses and the supply of them is gone forever.

That’s not a good thing.

Don’t worry, devs will bring more, if you behave.
Besides, they likely will just be resold for profit more expansive and expansive, but you just want it cheap you lazy j*rks)))

And it sounds like you’re just greedy.

No. I just respect the sport of things being expensive. As long as it doesn’t ruin pvp gameplay. Clan wars are meant to be a contest of skill, moneybags, and epic grinders, but you just sound like jamming in and justifying pure greed requests.

Your not even in a clan…

Artificially inflated prices isn’t good for the game, neither is filling events full of recycled content. Recycled content is the only thing they gain by making them limited.

Why do you care? I’ll make one when I"m ready.

How do you know? wtf is wrong with you people? It’s like every whiny a*s know what’s good for the game. So naive.
I tell you what I seen - devs added hovers and they became meta. Devs step by step nerfed them to reduce hovers sealclubbing everything, and people start leaving. Not really people - sealclubbers, they don’t want the game without their meta tool to stomp noobs, and all the whinies go “look, devs broke the game, they didn’t do what we asked them to”.
Why I know that? because you just don’t agree on what exactly is wrong or should be changed. Each has it’s own ideas. And even those you agree on are just greedy requests to give free stuff and make things cheaper.
(except requests to nerf some bias, those are productive and do work).
