Big Chase reward and season -are you serious?

its the same time today

There was a minor update, skinners are no longer allowed to be used and there were supposedly some bugs to fix inconsistencies with scoring and rewards. I played a few more games of this mode, by destroying both trucks I consistently got 6 pieces of plastic, with no premium. It wouldn’t be bad if the raid was actually short, but with randoms, it often drags out for almost as long as a normal raid. I’d say the reward is still absolutely pathetic and there is no reason to play this mode, unless you are short on fuel and very desperate for plastic.

This right here.

The CRAWL (It’s a crawl, not a chase) was fine at 7 (even 6) when skinner worked. But now it’s not worth it any more.
Hell, it even doesn’t count towards the plastic raid weekly. :rage:

Why, oh WHY are these devs dead set on punishing players instead of rewarding them and encouraging them?
They make an effort to create an event or a new raid, or something, then they make it so it’s LESS appealing with lower rewards then the rest of the regular content…

Events and special temporary content needs to be rewarding… Build up and MAINTAIN a hype while they last!

as i said before they done this least 20 times now so im not supprised i even predicted it and said in voice chat they just gonna be lazy and ban the skinner and nerf the reward and destory the raid again

okej not the bets times but prove my point from doing 10 runs today

Why are people complaining here???

ITS FREE PLASTIC FOR 1 MINUTE OF GAMEPLAY.

4 in our clan spend a couple of hours a day chatting and having a laugh, playing music and stupid comedy sketches in the background and grind 1,000 plastics with mix of gravistars, retchers and incins.

Again - FREE PLASTIC…no fuel…FREE!!!

Not everyone plays in a clan and/or having Retchers/Gravastars.

Costs no fuel but you DO have to work for it, making it NOT free
If that was free, then so is scrap, batteries, everything you can get from missions, because missions don’t need fuel…
Most of all, by that logic, even URANIUM is free then, because it takes no fuel.

Like Kehich said. Not everyone is in a clan, and some don’t have gravastars and retchers. To everyone who can’t get his 2-3 Retcher and Gravastar friends to farm with him, this raid is not worth it any more… Other game modes are more rewarding.

The complaint is not about the raid itself. I’s about them PUNISHING players by LOWERING their rewards (to get them to do things to avoid the punishment) instead of rewarding them with bonuses to motivate them. The principle of the thing.

Punishment? Interesting, many complainers here on forum have all kinds of negative stories and yet they continue to hurt themselves with this game, in other words they are probably masochists, and they are well served by Devs.

Punishment is a way to create an incentive. However in games, it’s a wrong way to do it.
In this case, they want players to kill the small bots in Chase. BUT, instead of rewarding those who kill the bots by extra plastic, they punish those who don’t by taking away some plastic. (It doesn’t matter if it’s 1 plastic, but it IS 1/6 of the reward).
In the gaming industry, it is of the outmost importance that players are happy. It’s one of the greatest examples of - The costumer is always right - … And while you can’t make everyone happy, you NEVER resort to cutting on the gaming experience. You reward it if you want to push the gameplay a certain way.

Not really. The game is unique and in that, great. But it has way too many flaws and some re pretty frustrating.
Enough to show open dissatisfaction through complains but not enough to outweigh the general uniqueness of a building game like this.
This has to be understood. People play because it’s still good enough to suffer through these things, but this is why soon as a similar game (if ever) is released, ALL of these people will switch to it with out a second thought.

That is because while Crossout is complete dogshit, grindfest, pay to win microtransaction hell, it is also unfortunately pretty much the only viable game in its category. The only alternatives that come to my mind where one can build a vehicle to fight others are GMod and DipRip, both are dead and extremely unsophisticated.

Ok - so bring incinerater ( or trombones ) build and pretty much anything like mgs and you will still do this in under 2 mins.

As for free - it is different from scrap etc because you can only get plastics by using fuel so this is very different. If you dont belong top a clan, make friends and do it with them. Get a discord and have some fun because this is a game.

As for this constant complaint about grinding…just play the game and have fun and rewards come. Its not fast which i think i great as you really appreciate when you have them.

On this I will agree with you, because as an old school gamer when you had to really work for things, I apreciate the value of hard earned things in games…

I however, do not agree on the thing you’ve missed are essential in the argument about complaints. It’s not complaining about this being hard or the reward being low. It’s about the way they DO things. By punishing (I’ve explained in my post above what punishment means), instead of rewarding, in order to encourage players to a certain gameplay or into paying.

But you still need to have 3 more good players on your side. You can’t complete it alone or with some 8k cannon trash build. Set aside complete it for 2 or less minutes.

Why is this a requirement?

You simply judge the event by having only your experience and you think this is why everyone else should stop criticizing the event? And that action you for some reason call “complaining”?

Great story, I’ve seen that theory come up before. I’ve been playing online games for about 30 years, and many games where the above strategy was applied changed from challenging games for real gamers to slack easy mode game games. And then die a soft death. Funnily enough, Crossout has been doing the opposite for years and still exists

That goes for every game that is published. In this case, Gayin has something in his hands with Crossout that many other, especially euro or us, publishers don’t want to get their hands on. Their buyers are more spoiled than the Russian buyers this game was designed for.

And I work in a gaming company and can tell you first hand, two things:
1- Rewarding and keeping players happy = longevity AND profit.
2- Complaints are worth their words in gold. They are far more valuable to developers than praises.

Yes Crossout exists. Exists, not thrives.
No one said Crossout should go from a hard core gamer game (which it is NOT) to a soft easy mode (which it actually IS)…

Do not miss the point. Crossout is not hard, just not rewarding.
Where it should be hard and challenging for veteran players, easy and friendly to new players, AND rewarding for both.
It is none of it all.

It is about the way they do things, by simply doing it wrong.
You keep the game challenging, but reward the players to keep them thrilled about it, not make them feel punished by cutting down on rewards.

Crossout is indeed a relatively easy game. With your background as an employee of a game company, I can understand your reasoning, most of today’s games are based on the model of turning players into reward addicts.

not all, but the crappy ones yes.

lmao, dont the nancy boys in bite want to team up with you anymore?
