Some players are literal bossfights; they can reliably deal with every single player on the enemy team in a 1v1. They are not always MVP’s, but they can annihilate an MVP. I’ve been on teams where I get a lower score than my teammates, and I see them the next match on the enemy team and pop off all their guns with my Ghost Astraeus my team finishes em off. I see an Aegis Parser going on a rampage and pop his cab for 817 damage and now his team is suddenly losing and he’s not so aggressive.
Crossout is very stratified in performance and skill in any given ps bracket, you need to pay attention to the names on the enemy team and figure out who tends to cause your defeats and kill/distract them. If you are not capable of that support the guy on your team who is.
I realized this theory in the Battlefield mode with the realtime score tracking. The strategy that got me to the top league as a solo was playing Scout and focusing down the most dangerous enemy player, usually a Heli. Scout would never do the most damage in a game if there was a good heli player but it would hard counter tf out of heli players who were the damage rollers no matter how good they were.
Nice video! That was a painful situation, knowing how much of a disadvantage you’re at. Nice shots… the clip started out like such a meme with all the damn dog builds everywhere you looked lol
The suspense felt very real, with the bad-guy lurking in the shadows, while our hero, wounded by the evil villain’s horde of mindless melee minions of darkness, limps to cover and pitches an eagle-eyed bullet from the remoteness of the wilderness right into the heart of the lurking beast, sending his ass…shes back into oblivion.
i recently came to understand you can farm those in pve. really makes you think, one could just do that and then brag on the forum about those stats as if they were pvp.
I don’t think they are fixed… I had a really nice match a few nights ago where I got someone to chase me in the heli into the underpasses and caves while another person capped. The team effort matters as does all the aspect of distraction in battle.
They are so good that I’m more puzzled than impressed. I mean, IDK what to make of it. It’s hard to grasp. On average you make as many or more kills than the rest of your team combined…routinely? That’s pretty good?
Your rig seems a long way from the META I usually see mopping up noobs in PVP with too, so it’s very baffling to me, but good for you.
I have seen your videos, and I would try that schit myself, but when I glance at the price of fused Wretchers and Porcs, I grimace. I’ve basically written that off as not even a possibility. I don’t even think about it. I just don’t see that as a viable reality for me…maybe twenty years down the road? Maybe I’ll grow a second penis too. Seems about as likely.
I feel the same somethimes, especially when matchmaking puts me in a lobby with the fewest powerscore 4-5 times in a row. 2000-3000 PS can be a huge difference. One player SD when see good team at enemy, or doesn’t connect. Bots rush in with sniping weapons, only few allies try to protect them. Having some average droner and the match is lost in first 20 second, no matter how hard you try winning it.
I don’t have any fused legendary weapons apart from a Heather and a fused Aegis. I’m gonna be getting 2 fused Fortunes from this event though. I don’t have any of the battle pass ones because I’ve not bought any of the passes for well over a year.
This 2 Fortunes and Aegis thing is really slapping for me, Catalina damage, cloak, Aegis and the Fortunes go through shields… amazing
Well, that makes your numbers seem all the more fantastic. I am watching, and you’ll likely see my builds begin to mock yours as I try to emulate that kind of success on some small scale.
Cool car, big kills; why wouldn’t I? I sure as hell ain’t chasing the META.
Well the basic principles are, 120kmh to be faster than everyone else (as you’ll have low weight). The cheetah/cloak gives you a lot of cloak uptime for flanking. Flank, get in as much damage as you can without being hit or at least not much… and always have an exit around cover, or at least cover to block line of sight…
Then repeat this, other modules like aegis, interceptor etc can help and are also boosted by cheetah. Oh and if you can spare an energy for a radar detector then always do it playing solo.
This isn’t really working for me (nothing really is). I tried a lot though.
Typically, by the time I get my first kill, the rest of my team is dead. Then I’m left with four or five guys hunting me down. Two guys chasing me in melee bricks, one guy lobbing homing missiles, another guy with ACs or MGs sniping my guns off, and a Bot with it’s bionic cannon bulls-eying me from beyond the wilderness. Am I supposed to kill all those guys at once, or do I ask them to wait their turn?
I’m just getting pwnd. It’s awful. If you can handle 3 or 4 guys at once, that’s amazing, good for you. I have no idea how to do that myself. I’m exhausted and frustrated…maybe a little pissed, actually. Not entertained, that’s for fucking sure.
This does tend to happen sometimes… It’s like a race… can you do enough damage to the enemy before your team die to ensure you can still clutch the game
