Maximum bonus to damage from the perk reduced from 50% to 40%.
Now the bonus received from an epic booster is 15% (instead of 13% before).
Now the bonus received from a rare booster is 10% (instead of 8% before).
Now the bonus received from a common booster is 5% (instead of 4% before).
Comment: “Cockpit” is extremely effective in battle on high PS levels and it’s a perfect choice for a leviathan. With these changes, we would like to improve and balance its effectiveness compared to other cabins and, at the same time, increase its relevance for cars at lower Power score levels, that use fewer epic boosters or boosters of lesser rarities.
I don’t see anywhere saying anything about CW or CW levi here. You could interpret it like this.
I sometimes get the impression that many CW players have the idea that the game revolves around them, while they actually only represent a small group.
One of many examples? Don’t exaggerate.
I’m not saying they never make or did any changes for CW, but the focus isn’t there, I thought I saw that comment in an XO blog once. And they won’t be forgotten by Devs either, after all they are a juicy source of income.
i have issues with hovers alot of the time. sometimes id push my directional stick to the right and my hover will spin left, then i have to let go and push it to the right again to get it to go to the right. its done this to all controllers i use for ps4 and i have no idea what thats about. its costed me quite a few times where i take hits that i shouldnt be taking and its not good for me nor my builds.
can confirm this. when i was in a clan before they wanted me to use a sideways hover with the cab exposed and i refused to do so. my play style is different then most clans do. im cautious and try to always take careful aim. but i do not like having my back exposed alot of the time.
i also think omni wheels are weird and behave so oddly. i used them again after a long time and id need ALOT of practice if i were to use them. they are so awkward. its weird seeing a wheel not “turn” like normal wheels. and yes yes i know the people who are nose deep in this game are going to say “its not a wheel you idiot its like a track!” i get that, but im used to wheels being able to twist to turn a vehicle in a direction. omnis are just a weird concept to me. but yeah i can also see them as overpowered to.
legs and bigrams are… alright i guess. ive never had an issue with them really.
hell ive never really had an issue with hovers either. but i guess i just dont know how to use them effectively. i just slap them on a vehicle and go. i dont do rocket science to figure out what maneuvers the best.
cannons needed a buff anyways. without the buff they arent really worth it. i also found it funny that typhoons were around 35 - 37k then when they said cannons are getting buffed boom they shoot up to 45k xD
Wheel builds except dogs have been dead ever since hovers got added. There has never ever been a meta ranged wheel build since strafing was added. Wheels have by far the lowest skill cap due to how limited they are in everything except W meta. This is why I’ve suggested they ALL gain full reverse speed and the hot red gets a new perk. This change can only make wheels better to play and the game more balanced. Its not going to buff the dogs or whoever’s ability to greet & delete you. Its also going to be more fun to play wheels until you can afford epic movement parts as a new player.
Nobody who plays to win runs ranged weapons with wheels. If they do they play like a dog, or they are really good and off-meta.
This will not affect any movement parts more than others, aside from hovers. Hovers will be nerfed a bit more. It will specifically affect spaced armour build performance, be it a spider build a hover build a wheel build or whatever.
Yes spaced armour will still be around. People just wont be spaceing them out as much because there will be no point anymore. Spaced armour will go back to only being focused around just blast damage. I doubt the avalanche alone will be enough of an incentive to build spaced armour seven blocks apart still. Hell avalanches blast radius is wider thay seven blocks anyways.
People think way too highly of spaced armour. Its not that much better at all. Spaced armour is like having a small part fusion. Spaced armour to a build is like a 10% resistance fusion is to a gun. It makes some difference but you can clean up just fine without it. Just the tryhards out there thinking its what they need to win. But yall dont need that crap.
Could be - but if the change only makes the bullet travel until it has depleted it’s damage then I can see using a larger chunk of armor to take all the bullet damage - then 7 blocks of complete empty space to take the explosion radius.
I will be testing this - it could result in build that the space armor is even more spread out with much larger empty areas.
God only knows what the player base will come up with, but this is what I’m thinking will end up happening.
I imagine hovers will have single layers of very light armor on lightweight 1 X 8 frames 7 or even 7 and 14 blocks out on the front of their builds.
As for the new troll, just put that account on ignore. I get the feeling it was created because his other account is being ignored by so many so he’s not getting the attention his little pea brain desires.
I feel as if spaced armour will just become a balance of deciding detween size/durability/weight instead of just getting to choose the lowest HP for maximum space… perhaps even using more horizontal armour pieces around weapons
Also the account says it’s new but I’ve used it for bug reports for ages… Just tired of looking here just to see 1 out of 3-4 people being the usual toxic/arrogant type person, there’s a reason no one comes here and instead chills on reddit
