Cannon rework will fail to make Cars “Beautiful” - the complete death of wheel builds

I see a lot of BLAH BLAH BLAH my kill ratio makes me a god.

in Truth BLAH BLAH BLAH 3-4 k/d…blah blah blah… where is the proof those were SOLO player kills and not bot farming or squad play? All of these different modifiers make it a worthless stat.

But congratulations if that is all you have to brag about. Bot farming.

Wait… where is the KD ratio in this game, anyway? I looked and all I see is the kills per battle stat. Is that what we’re talking about? LOL

Yeah, we don’t have a KD stat in this game.

yeah. the one you can easily manipulate by killing bots. But also one that is manipulated by mission PVP because it contains bots.

If it was a CW stat only it would then mean something. (however if you survive and win, you should get a k/d ratio of 4:0.)

So in reality, each stat has to be compared to stats that have been obtained in the same way for them to be comparative.

(I keep saying KD but that isnt the stat, its my old brain)

This is hilarious. We have dudes trying to shame people over k/d and it doesn’t even exist?

Not only would it be a dumb stat for this game for reasons I already mentioned, but my stupid assembler build gets an exaggerated kill count because it’s a sniper build and therefor a kill stealer.

It sucks compared to my arbiter, but probably gets more kills per match.

Then, there’s the fact that I use both of those to strip weapons. Once stripped, enemies are generally ignored. The Assembler still racks up kills towards the end of the match.

I also use miniguns to decloak enemies to the benefit of the whole team.

In a game like this where you whittle down an enemy before killing him, focusing on your k/d ratio is counterproductive to actually winning. If that’s what everyone concentrates on, everyone will be running builds designed to steal kills… Scorps, canons, shotguns… And assemblers. :joy:

To my mind, a guy who DOES have a high k/d ratio is probably not the greatest team player.

And people who brag about it and berate others with it this game…

:joy::joy::joy:

It is in normal PvP also very easy to score 6 - 8 kills/assists, mg ac or even better inci. Not that it is very effective for team, but KB is very easy to raise if you want, you dont need patrol for that.

no. it’s because I keep calling it K/D instead of what it is supposed to be called because I can’t think of the right name and am to lazy to look.

Nah… wasn’t referring to you. You’re not going around trying to embarrass people. At least, not that I have seen. LOL

Im sorry your exposing me? For what? I saw nothing of your posts about me? Are you back to creeping and stalking people? Why even? No one cares what you post about me bro.

The stat we are all talking about is calculated as follows: kills+assists/games played. You can get an assist by doing any damage to an enemy player. Based on this, rangey machine guns and autocannons get much more of this stat than any other weapon.

I think that the closest Crossout has to a skill stat, is checking the leaderboards for various power restricted event brawls and seeing where you stack up. Stats at Soccer, Spring Mayhem and Twisted Metal event brawls are probably the most pure because everyone has the same car. I’m high silver in Soccer and low silver in most other game modes. I think that makes me a mediocre Crossout player.

Also, for older players we had half our stats deleted.

If you where around years ago they redid the trails/badges system (or whatever you call it)

They used to have an “Archive” tab that would show all the old badges for mission kills and so on. Everything from before the change was added to that tab.

That tab was around for a long time - now that tab is gone.

Hello guys
Please stay on topic and be nice to each others.
Thanks

Soccer is not a good representation of crossout pvp skill. Its a whole different game.

The wheels are already dead, I tried a wheeled build after a long time and after getting tired of random spin-outs and oversteering for no good reason suddenly shooting me into a random direction when I was trying to get back into the fight, I kicked the wheels off, replaced 6 wheels with 6 Omnis, gained maybe +100 more powerscore and fought in the same ps bracket as before, but this time being more able to actually drive and steer and go in the direction I want to

I miss the good pre-superblunder wheels

that is what I keep calling the weekly tree

Interesting. I just made one of my builds better by removing omnis and adding wheels. Maybe its just your playstyle that is the reason you fail with wheels.

Well… I can’t say your wrong.

But also I can’t say that every play-style is for everyone.

I have always been the guy to change what I’m playing and how I’m playing based on what is strong, but some guys just don’t want to do that OR they can’t get gear fast enough. That don’t make them wrong.

But… if you take anything away from what I’m saying - take away this “You are right.”

So much coping in here, people say k/d because that’s what people refer to kpb… because there’s no actual k/d then there’s nothing to confuse it for… semantics are like insults, people resort to them when they’re out of ideas or logical reasoning.

Yup not every playstyle works for everyone.
