I think we can work with this line for a long time. I am not going to, but somebody could.
Once again my dude you keep missing out on the fact that crossout isnāt made to be played with the same build and weapons 24/7, sure you can but donāt get surprised if your stuff gets nerfed. You need backup solutions in life and when you donāt itās kinda boohoo to come complain about it.
42k played matches, thatās your total unyielding and MVP patchesā¦ using a shotgun wedge for -the vast majority- of those 42k matches.
You essentially have 2500 unyielding patches and 2500 MVP patches in 42k games.
I have played 18k matches to earn the patches I haveā¦ Literally less than half your match count and I essentially equal your MVP and Unyielding count.
I donāt even consider myself to have decent stats hardlyā¦ You?
You canāt handle caucasusā¦ and you report everyone in the forums.
Have you considered that you should stop begging the managers to reformat everything to fit your whims?
So 59/59(118) patches per 1000 games O_o is it bad or good? I have apx 87/38(125) and I considered it average but apparently its totally bad?
If you cannot manage first place at least one out of every 8 matches, 12.5%? You may need to work on skill, build, or some other factor.
I essentially have a 25% first place finish rate, 1 in 4 matches. Is that good from my view? Not hugely, itās not badā¦ but itās not the top of the crop. I know players with 50% mvp ratesā¦ not combined unyielding and mvp, JUST MVP patches. In the case of Mud thoughā¦ heās complaining about one of the weaker purple weapons while running a mace wedge for at least the last 500+ weapons patches heās earnedā¦ and getting a 10% first place rate in essence. Given just how long mace wedges were -the meta-, it would behoove us (I think) to consider Mudās skill when weighing his rather plaintive posting.
Hmm, Iāve always found the MVP ratio to be a tricky one. If i play alone I would say 9/10 times I will have the highest score on the team, but potentially lose because my team is useless anyway so no MVP patch.
Whereas playing in a group of 4 good players, any one of us could get the MVP because we all contribute decent damage.
What PS and build you run plays a big part too.
To an extent, yesā¦ but there is still a -floor- if you catch my meaningā¦ and the floor for a mace wedge (which until very recently was -the- hyper meta and still is no slouch) player with 500+ patches in maces alone should be putting him with a higher stat accrual than heās achieved. And per what Iāve been able to determine he sticks to 7k and under. He then comes in to complain about a weapon that is not strong by any stretch, calls everyone else karens (while demanding manager actionā¦ the irony there), accuses like 5 of us of being the same person, screams about whales, was the first player in the forums to flag a post, etc.
I dunno, I just figure you should consider the source and reason of the complaints here is what Iām trying to tell people XD
I have significant quota of best in team but not even unyielding - in a case of whipe and it is like 20% of all games. But I get the count. I am just hesitant to go for more efficient meta-builds for the low fun of it
Looks like I have to live with āat least I am almost never not in top halfā for a while
3 caucasos with 2 goliaths, tired of killing all 8 players at that time, too much OP. too much power for a weapon that plays almost single-handedly from the player
I remember seeing a lot of those builds a few years ago. Theyāre usually pretty easy to flip over, which is the simplest way to counter them. And of course energy weapons tend to burn through the tracks pretty fast. Theyāre often weak in the rear, as the front two guns often canāt shoot backwards.
Iām sure they can still be strong in low PS against newer players, but nothing compared to what they used to be.
I think I know why u dislike Caucasus - the normal approach of a shotgun build player (may they misplace their house keys every morning) is to destroy weapons first and defenceless car afterwards. This isnt that easy with caucasus.
I still think that shotguns are honorless weapons because of ridiculously small hitbox and how easy it is to destroy weapons with them.
My suggestion - accept your nemesis and follow the path of redemption.
Never use shotguns in PvP to begin with.
i never said i didnt like Caucasus.( although they are annoying) i just used them as an example of how i use to be able to shoot them out,and the rad nerf shot me up to 8k ps score.( like hey,i love my doppler radar)but now i need to strip my build for this crap lol, like all the stupid ps + power nerf killed lots of builds.
was just gonna throw in my 3rd rad but i always look at the map so i need my dop radar to see.so im kinda workin with it,until i just want to go in blind, and how can anyone say anything about any weapon in this game, its a users choice,if we all had it our wayāit would be No hovers,no mines,no drones,no turrets,no firebugs, and most of all .no relics in low ps.but thats not just me,might wanna ask around,or look at the old forum(insert Karen here<ā)
ur using thresher in raids, nice but everyone hates that because they cant get points for themselvesā¦
we dont need more Karens,thx
In raids my threshers are usually not remarkable, because Rethcer, Retcher, Retcher and Retcher
Also in raids 80% of points are stages, not kills.
Yet here you are screeching for a manager and demanding things be your way.
Hereās a crazy ideaā¦ if you canāt handle a caucasus goliath buildā¦ and you have a wedge. Consider how goliaths -actually- sit on the groundā¦ then look at that wedgeā¦ then look at the Goliath build. Geeā¦ itās almost like thereās an (I guess) hidden solution right in front of you! (literally on the front of your build)
I find maxwell is good enough for mid/low PS. I also find it easier to hide in my builds, because it doesnāt scrape the ground like Doppler does if you undermount.
Also, have you tried fusing the blue rads and coolers? Itās cheap, and you can boost their stats quite a bit. Might be a way to get your PS down to the range you prefer.
True, if youāre at 7-8k you dont need purple rads/coolers, fused blues does pretty decent too theyāre just heavier and bigger as well as no speed perk. Mud, you remind me this stereotypical old man that still runs his 89 crown vic and complains he cant park anywhere anymore. Just like Iād tell him, I tell you; learn to evolve/adapt.
i did adapt after the first nerf and after the second and third and fourth,so on and so onā¦lol
i have alot of weps n stuff i use when i get bored using the same thing.
Thatās good but the funny thing is that to me they kinda equal to shotgun builds in effectiveness, they dont hit has hard as shotguns but they aim for cab and higher range. Also their weakness is not being able to degun directly, so if you armor more your cab and weapons further away from cab you got higher odds of surviving. (even though little)
Hi Guys,
I understand people get annoyed at their builds being nurfed and the shotgun nurf with reduced range then reduced cooling is a big one. I play at a range of PS levels and at lower PS (under 8000) the shotgun were too powerful. They did too much damage in a short time. I think by reducing the range by 40% has hurt the most.
As for people paying money for playing this game, my view is simple. The free to play person should NEVER complain about people spending money on the game if they do not. If people was to buy new parts then all good. It does not make them win games because usually it just pushes them into higher PS were people have been playing longer.
ALSO - if nobody put money into the game IT WOULD NOT EXIST!!! So simple but people forget. I agree that premium when on special at Christmas is cheap and for a year of game-play is worth the money.
