Clan Wars Participation

Don’t burn yourself out, mate. Chill a bit, soon new weapons will change CW a bit soon.

We all wish Targem gave Rust and Tin reasons to play U_U

It’s not just CW though. Regular PVP has gotten really frustrating recently.
I need to take a long break.

What PS levels are you trying at?

Usually around 13-14K. Sometimes I play at 5K.

Update: 7/24/22: 590 clans, same as last week.

its half dead on ps4 at least.

and seeing the work of the devs and how they treat their customers this is only logical.

also this forum looks quite dead compared to the last forum which was already kinda dead

Update: 7/31/22: 612 Clans, up 22 from last week.

I’m not sure how to make CW more attractive to people, but here are the reasons I don’t bother with it:

  • I find 4v4 too boring and repetitive compared to the chaos of PVP
  • the lack of PS matchmaking and/or PS limits seems to lead to lots of very unbalanced matches
  • the schedule doesn’t work with my life very well

I enjoyed arena mode much more than CW, but would have enjoyed it more if it were team based like CW.

Maybe a more casual PS-limited mode for lower CW leagues would help attract players like me? Or maybe it would be better if players like me don’t play any CW?

22 more is a good amount

It is, lets hope that the number continues to climb.

CW isn’t for everyone. It’s perfectly fine if you don’t enjoy it. I personally am having a lot of fun with CW right now. I found a clan that I like.

I wish this game would have 1-2 more really fun game modes.

Would be cool if clan wars had more modes, which could run in off hours from normal clan wars.
Make leviathan wars its own thing, and maybe let us use our range building items and vehicle weapons to make CW bases that teams could attack in a semi-PVE approach (kind of like invasion, but a real invasion). Maybe some PS capped mode based on Arena. If there were more variety in CW, I would be more interested.

I’ve suggested a few time that they do CW Raids in the awakening area.

That sounds very interesting. It would make sense from scenario and lore perspective. I imagine it would work like the current raids like protect the oil jack or escort a truck.
Could you provide the link?

I was thinking more complex like in normal raids your fighting against a single faction, in the awakening map you could have multiple factions present as opponents. As the maps larger there can be more objectives and routes to completion then there is on the normal maps too. They can also play some these clan raids off as doing work for a individual faction rather then having it be against a single faction like they do in the regular raids. If they put bot allies in it would be the hiring faction then.

There’s lots of special event and holiday stuff they can use like the watch towers and trap guns too. They could even do ravager condition contagion from bot to bot, where it would be like stop the spread. Trap guns could be taken over like you do in frontier defense raids. There’s also a few other groups they mention in the awakening area that aren’t standard factions either they could also be used as enemies as well. A lot of other portions of the standard raids can be used as well in a longer chained narratives.

Power scaling can also go higher than normal raids as you wouldn’t be expecting people to come in with dinky 8k builds trying to slide by. Distance between objectives can also add to the difficulty, as in most of the basic raids the objectives aren’t that far apart. The difficulty really should be geared towards legendary and up though as far as gear goes perhaps the easiest of them geared towards epic gear.

lmao you took 2nd ss on a tuesday nice joke

That would be cool. It would nice to see Lunatics and Firestarters fighting alongside each other. It would also be cool to see Members of each faction get frustrated with each other as the Players gain the upper hand in the raid.

Do you think it would cause people to seal-club to get more fuel to complete more of these raids?

The definition of Seal clubbing in the game is odd to start with. There’s the nominal level and experience version of seal clubbing and then there is also the itemized version. There’s also the lvl 10 player that bought a pack and is clubbing his fellow seals. There’s always going to be min PS danger zones.

I don’t think it will cause issues for the newest protected players as they can’t really communicate to get into clans or interact with more experienced players. If it does cause issues in clubbing it would be in the itemized version in fairly particular PS matches. I’m not sure if that’s a horrible thing though they’ll be in min builds with fuel tanks trying to survive to the end of matches. If the seals are willing to follow suit and the price of fuel goes up it would actually help them out as far as earning coin. A lot of the older vets just buy fuel too so if it’s going to cause issues it will probably be from lower or early middle ranked (experienced) players that don’t have a lot of liquid coin to use.

There’s also 2 other Fiat-ish currencies in the game that are really under used and valued (coupons and shell casings) Coupons currently sell around .050 the price of fuel and the shell casings we can’t trade in yet but I’d assume they’d have similar value. They could make adjustments to use them as well. They could even use engineer badges if they really wanted to.

They also have the ability to set up quotas and limits just like they’ve done with many other portions of the game so I think they probably could keep it in control as long as they monitor it and are willing to make adjustments. Which they seem to be willing to do.

I think it would pretty cool too see some inter-faction dynamics happen in the game as your playing through too. They don’t have to just run small waves of bots either if you pay attention to the missions in awakening there are a number of times they run larger bot build too. So there could be more challenging targets mixed in. Depending on how slick they are with content locks, completing objectives can have a really wide range of reactions. As there would be 4 players per raid they could also look at and provide different game responses if the team is together completing the objectives or are they separate or otherwise divided doing individual ones. There’s lots of ways to milk a multi-player modes for diversity of play experiences.
