Congratulation you have lost another player and a lot of other follow me

Always the same ppl talking bs nothing has changed in this nooby forum , sometimes I’m wondering if we play the same game

Good that we have reddit and there you can see what majority thinks about last update.

I love the update so far. The worst parts which are the driving control changes are optional, and dogs + hovers got what I consider to be a nerf. Some players will still dominate with dogs and hovers, but I think there will be fewer of these players due to a raised skill floor.
I dislike the combo counters etc. I really dislike games that make normal actions reward you with flashy text and a hit sound.

The camera controls are a massive lowering of the skill floor of hovers to be honest. And they now hover higher for some reason, which makes it far easier for them to fly over an enemy upon collision, making them even more forgiving than before. (Among other things)

Skill floor definitely raised for dogs though. I also love how the remaining wreckage after a kill stays in front of the dog and hinders the freedom of movement a bit.

Lol, I’ve read Reddit, you got some real winners in that bunch…

But having a place where everyone has the same opinion as you must make for great conversation.

Its kind of like whales rubbing blubber talking to each other.
“I think this!”
“I also think that!”
“But what about this?”
“Yep, I agree with that too”
“…”
“…”

I disagree on that last part: I really enjoyed when I saw a big SLAUGHTER! banner after getting a triple kill.
I know it makes the game look more like coin arcade era games, but to me that’s a good thing (as long as it comes with overall better graphics like this update did).

More is coming lmao

If the hover players are a skilled as they claim, they’ll find ways to adapt.

In fact, they’d figure out that this was a massive -buff-… and recognize the skill floor is higher, so is the -ceiling-…

That would require rational thought and higher logic functions to be used and instead they are going with emotional knee-jerks.

I do, truly, appreciate that… but I wish they’d not.

I wish they would wait and try to adapt to the change before they throw a massive tantrum.
Some peoples’ kids…

This is not accurate. Icarus 4’s four are 3kph faster on most cabins unless you use cheetah which is terrible in hovers. 7’s are faster yes, but the pitch and yaw is so bad you have to stop to shoot anything.

People are really happy they have finally nurfed hovers this hard, which i am sure those that have not put years into the game learning to play them will be very happy about.

I played CW today and its the first time in 5 years i did not want to play after the first match and i am seriously considering deleting it altogether, as is about half of my clan.

I tried for 8 hours to get hovers to work near as i could to decent and they just are not good anymore. 6000 hours in and I am struggling to find any desire to try and find a FIX to a massive nurf to hovers.

My favorite game of 5 years i almost rage quit and deleted today so take that as you will.

The game needs a roll back but the new graphics are fine.

Unfortunately I will not be able to play crossout again, I am a person of limited resources and I do not have a high end computer with a graphic card or high processors, the last update denied me the opportunity to continue enjoying this game that I like so much, goodbye to crossout. :sob: :sob:

man now I kind of want to get some red hovers hearing about this, i want both of the hovers!

what about if you, turn down your graphics settings?

So you say wait and adapt? Let me tell you I’m tired of adjusting, I’ve been doing this for the last 5.5 years. As a player who spent 15,000 hours in crossout, I know that there is nothing to wait for, just give it a rest for good with this game.
It cost me a lot of time and a crossout money. I have three different sets of hovers every time I have to adapt, and I’m not going to do more.

Why always players who prefer hover over other parts have to adapt and not the rest?
I use various movement parts, I have no problem with it, but I like hovers the most, for the dynamism and freedom of movement they give me.
But now it’s totally impossible to have the pleasure of using them, every time I try it feels like this

Although some try to adapt

Just look in the setting and turn the new stuff off.

Welcome to life. It changes and you must adapt if you wanna live.

Guys… Come on now, just do it bit of testing. I’ve concluded you can still build wheel builds that work just fine and turn on a dime.

Yes I understand many of you are having issues with your original builds not working right. And I understand. It’s horrible to play with builds now with how a lot of you were building them on the old version. I’ve tested those and it was brutal to play with.

However I have found several wheel builds that work great. Oddly enough I will reccomend an old school build method from the hamerfall meta days. The diamond wheel set up, with non st wheels in the center and evenly distributed weight. They turn on a freekin dime and the oversteer is very very minimal. It’s fairly clean. The build I tested specifically was 4bigfoots and 4 hermits. Four wheels were non st. It could be the incline helping the wheels perform well. Idk. I’m yet to test a non inclined version. But I assume non incline builds would work too. Just make sure to evenly distribute your weight.

On another note sabbath wheels actually work better than they used to. I didn’t even have to modify any of my sabbath builds. They drive so damn clean now its beautiful. They’re kind of op. I’m asumeing claws drive as clean but I haven’t tested them.

The final key factor to clean driving is don’t just hold w. Quick tap off of the gass or use your handbrake when doing tight turns. Then u won’t oversteer at all.

I promise you wheels still work very well.

That last part about using your brakes is very important.
Seems like those of us that were already using our handbrake a lot have been able to easily adjust to the wheel changes, although I think people who used only ST wheels are probably having trouble adjusting to how handbrake now works on those builds.
Personally, I’m able to better control my faster cars since the update. Things had been a little weird for a lot of the last year, but I’m loving how my fast builds feel right now.
Mass distribution also has a huge impact now, as it should.
