Ah… I had a Gravastar build with a similar philosophy.
It had tilted Augers, so you got chewed up by augers while the gravastars fired down on you.

While I’m a Mad Max fan & love car games, it’s not simply the “build a car” aspect, either. Even FPS games don’t allow you to customize your character (what the car essentially is in XO). Virtually every one I’ve ever played has severe limits on how I can customize the character. Granted, I’ve played games - even on my phone - where I could fine tune the appearance of my character to levels that seemed unimaginable just a few years ago… but that’s appearance. I can’t change the functionality of the character all that much. I can’t add a 3rd and 4th arm to my sorcerer to cast twice the spells… I can do that in XO - so to speak. XO rules all other games in this aspect.

The idea of adding legs to hovers sounds stupid, but by golly, if it works… Love it!

Fusions need to be good, otherwise you just have 3 players in the same spot and lose a chunk of your team if things so wrong

Joking around and playing with some buddies is winning.

I’ve built a ton of them with my kids… they’re never anything close to META. LOL

If META is on one end, Functional Art builds come next, then PURE art builds, then these monstrosities.

Probably why I like 'em so much.

Every now and then, we’d strike upon a mix of parts that seemed to work well enough, but never as good as my butt dragging doggy build.

My friend makes load of fusion that are definitely to be feared… better than most players’ builds… I need footage of the others, he has loads and needs more blueprint space tbh… He’s always annoyed that there’s a hard limit.

His others include quad millers with Skiner, quad Snowfall with trombone… his recent creation of a 2 seater with 3 Athenas, Aegis, Barrier and harvester works a dream, they never expect the harvester and always go into the shields to get them and regret it

I’ve seen a few really good ones on PS4. You think most of the team is wiped out, and then that one red dot turns out to be a massive spider that obliterates you the second you come around the corner.
