Third my rant lol… not really directed to you personally.
Console (for the most part) is just the games you have on PC. Gameplay in most cases is identical except for the UI and we use a controller (Xbox also support mouse and keyboard).
It’s always weird to me that many PC players don’t even realize how good modern consoles are. I’m pretty sure my Xbox series X with a mouse and keyboard is 10 times the gaming PC 90% of these guys have.

The dev team had an interview on a Russian gaming website and mentioned that their console
Market is the largest market share. This would be Xbox + PS. So yes the PC platform has more people in one place. But Xbox and PS make more money combined.
Why the hell not? That’s a brilliant idea, I think; a dock for your cell-phone-god to port content into a grown-up platform would be pretty keen, probably. I don’t do cell phones, or phones at all, so IDGAF personally, but it it strikes me as a very marketable idea.

At least on Xbox, I can play my Xbox games on my cellphone with streaming.
Well it’s even more then just being able to play the games on my phone. I can control my Xbox with my phone. Manage downloads, set my personal setting, text, voice chat, play games, everything my Xbox can do, but on my phone.

We are not talking about a console doing the job of a PC, we are talking about a console playing games and many of the game are just the same game you play on PC and we even play with PC players.
And as far as games go, most peoples PCs don’t have as much power as an Xbox One X. Now I know you have the top tier dude with crazy PCs, but if your building one of those to play Crossout then your 100% nuts.

My son got some kind of console recently, and I do find it impressive, but again it’s not much for creativity as far as I can tell. I’m not aware if Skyrim or Fallout has a Creation kit for it, and I get the impression game developers don’t lean into that kind of thing for consoles since the mouse and keyboard aren’t as commonly accommodated. The game development for consoles doesn’t appear to go in that direction very naturally. If it did, I might consider a console. The internet is another thing I’m finding less amusing these days and could very likely do without if things keep heading in the direction they are.
I like to create music (I play a couple instruments, can sing a little), and the only other thing I like computer technology for (besides reading the news and watching pirate TV) is reducing the enormity of recording equipment into a nice tiny and convenient micro-studio. If I could get an XBox to do that, I might just ditch this PC.
I haven’t really written or performed much of anything in maybe a decade, and that song’s probably at least 15 years old. I still play guitar a lot, and I got a new Taylor acoustic recently, so maybe it’s time to get back into it. It’s probably more constructive than wasting all the time I spend on this game.

I really hope they manage cross play next year. I want 8v8 back on console, and I want to see the metas of the various platforms collide.

My brain can’t even think like that, I own a ton of tech. Each machine is its own tool used for different reasons. Im not going to uses a hammer to put in a screw.
We have 5 people that live in my house. 4 of us are gamers. I also own a Graphic design company from a home office.
I have 3 Mac book pros, 2 iMac Pros, 2 Mac Pros, 4 xbox series X, 2 Nintendo switch, 2 Windows gaming laptops, 2 iPad pros with the pencil for both, 1 iPad mini, 2 Apple TVs…. I could go on (also note that all the Macs duel boot windows and are also gaming PCs since they where bought with graphic design in mind)
We do all PC, Console, phone, and iPad gaming.
Im spoiled.

I think this game shows the presence of a lot of discontinued ideas that never reached fruition, or just got terminated and forgotten for whatever reasons. Adventure mode looks like one of those ideas. Coupons seem lost and forgotten too, and I wish fusion would get lost, but that’s not going to happen. The reward crates seem dorked out and well below their original value, too.
They seem to have changed course a lot over the years, and I do wish they planned stuff out further into the future-scape, and metered their production and releases with more regularity. It already looks like battle passes are mutating into something else…They still have those, right? Just kidding…sort of.
I actually expected a new one of those to have already come out a while ago. Instead we got a mutant mini-version (Twister), but at the same price as the full sized ones. It’s the first “Battle Pass” I didn’t bother with.
Now what’s the schedule? I see an interesting helicopter brawl with a lot of potential for expansion, and an updated Trucker pack I think I dread straight ahead…and snow. Is there something else? I couldn’t hold my attention to the live-stream very well, but I think they are aiming at new years for the next Battle pass, ya?
I’m not convinced they are going to keep doing those, and I think they are trying to wiggle out of the expectation that they should.

A realization even if this mode doesn’t work out they can keep the helicopters in the game, just swap them over to minibosses for raids.
Like imagine this you are in a hard raid vs steppenwolves and a random event happens where a sky crane flies in dropping off a tank with a relic weapon while firing pyre swarms at you.
Or you are fighting the nomads and they release a Hind to bomb you to dust making for an epic fight across the map.
The dawns have a flying drone carrier that drops in small hover drones that have lasers on them.
the fire starters well they have waht looks to be half of a chinook equipped with porcs to bomb everything laying both mine versions and combat versions.
Scavangers have a full Chinook, which will fly in dropping off a medium tank of some sort and drones lots of wheel drones both the repair version and sidekicks.
lunatics, don’t have one.
All of these would only appear on hard raids.

No u dont get me. I took what devs said as meanimg they are still waiting on technicalities and it may not be next year, or ever. But for all i know it could be in January…or never. What it tells me is that devs want crossplay but are strugfling to get aproval from platforms.
