Hello, survivors!

Let’s continue learning about the new features of the upcoming season. In this part, we’ll talk about the legendary machine gun and light cabin. Let’s dive in!

We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all. This applies not only to information about possible unique features of new parts, but also to the appearance of the parts themselves.

Legendary machine gun “Hybrid”

The combined Battle pass of two factions could not do without a hybrid weapon, which embodies the union of discipline and madness. A machine gun and a grenade launcher in one package!

The “Hybrid” has two firing modes, which can be switched by double-clicking the fire button. In the first mode, the new weapon rains machine gun fire on the enemies, and in the second mode, it launches grenades that attach to the target and explode after a short period of time.

The “Hybrid’s” perk encourages using one mode to enhance the other. When hitting an enemy at a distance of 50 meters in machine gun mode, the perk accumulates a bonus that increases the explosion radius for grenades in the second mode. When firing grenades in the second mode, the perk accumulates a bonus to machine gun damage for each enemy with an attached grenade. Skillful use of the two modes is the key to unlocking the full potential of the “Hybrid”.

Note that all these bonuses are not permanent. They only last for 10 seconds after firing.

Legendary light cabin “Dolores”

Remember “Catalina”? The Engineers sure do, and they felt that it hasn’t reached its final form. “Dolores” is the culmination of the idea behind “Catalina”.

You are familiar with the basic mechanics of the cabin and its perk. When mounted on an armoured car, it reduces all weapon damage by 20%, and when damage is dealt to enemies, the cabin increases weapon damage by 8% up to 10 times.

Additionally, the “Dolores” perk also increases weapon damage by 15% after the delay for receiving the next charge ends, but this bonus only works until that charge is received. Such a surge of power can become decisive in battle.

Grenade launching ability aside, I’ll be interested in seeing how the Hybrid machinegun component compares to the Aspect.

I’m going to assume that it will do less damage, until the perk is activated. But probably will do more damage when the perk is maxed out.

I think it will be great for raids, but unsure how well it will perform in PVP

Legendary Catalina? Idk, never liked catalina, was only good on a heli in next step for me.
I just don’t like less damage from the start. Going into a 1v1 weaker, but the last 1v1 with charges gives too much dmg.

As for the Hybrid… So wacky idk. Cool, but i don’t expect it to be that good tbh. Will have to see.
I will be getting this battle pass. Unfortunately I miss out on 90-95% of every years battle passes. So hopefully the cabs worth it… But i also hate light cabs, too much of a glass cannon.

(Also, hovers are op so surely that’s where the new stuff will be used most. Which will cause nerfs, which will nerf the people not using hovers) like the new Dolores cab.
Will get nerfed guaranteed.
Not so much on a hover tho. But everyone else will be nerfed if you get what i’m saying.

I dig the Corvette Stingray structure parts and cabin.

Not sure about the hybrid weapon. Kind of gimmick weapon on first glance. Not to chuffed about it.

Shrug… crossing my fingers about the rest of the pass.

PLEASE stop with these garbage abilities… i really dont like the functionality of these types of abilities on builds. do one thing to build another thing on a car and swap between them to keep damage high is such a stupid ability. sure, it encourages you to use both weapons but in this case your combining a grenade launcher with a machine gun… both of these types of weapons are vastly different from one another.

Hmmmm…if combo weapons become the new rage, I can’t wait for an Incinerator/Jotun combo weapon…one that shoots flaming snowballs!

I do like the looks of the gun though, been a while since we got some real jury rigged weapons instead of super scifi stuff or just military gun

Could buy a few more passes, But not worth it until hovers get nerfed for once.

I’m more concerned with hovers tho. Will obviously be better there :unamused:

Seems like this pass will be more car oriented, which is definitely my comfort zone.
Guessing there will be a new wheel. I’m hoping for an epic version of a shiv. Would be nice to get a new engine that isn’t as huge as the more recent ones.

you care a lot about balance, yet you want to buy passes. those two dont go together
