Gotta love a good clutch up against the odds
Nice Heather build, I might steal the concept.
By the way, I’ve been using your braking trick with Yongwang to hit nearby enemies, and it works great. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks, the Yongwangs is much fun, you really get used to using terrain angles to your advantage and it’s very satisfying.
Here’s the Heather modules I use if you’re curious, I’ve actually not ran it for quite a while now; like many builds I play it a lot then need a long break to do other things, did the same with Yongwang I mean holy F I overplayed that build.
The fact that the dudes you were playing against didn’t seem to understand how the Heather works certainly helped out. Nice work, though… I rarely see that particular weapon used well, much less in a clutch.
Cheers, I can only record 3 mins and as you can see sometimes it cuts off a little… so you didn’t get to see the first half of the match, I do remember kapkanning them as they chased me around all the corners of that map so perhaps they got tired of chasing and being trapped… it’s how the first 2 were dead int he first place; the guy at the end managed to dodge 5-6 shots on base so he knew what was up, luckily the det was enough
Maxwell and verifier? That’s interesting. Doesn’t the verifier basically do everything the maxwell is doing?
I’m happy to be playing Yongwang again. Was my favourite for quite a while, but I go through phases too. Like you, I prefer to run it with 360 firing angles. Shooting sideways or backwards at least half the time.
It helps when you need to kapkan people who use cloak, you take them out of cloak in order to kapkan them and make your shot easier, otherwise many players cloak and get past the traps; just a little thing to make things easier, plus seeing anyone in cloak is helpful to lay traps on those who think they’re getting the jump on the ‘easy artillery guy’.
I meant why would you still have a maxwell if you have a verifier? Is the range in the maxwell that much bigger than the verifier?
I’ve only recently started using verifier, and I usually use it on its own, sometimes with a long range radar.
Does the verifier detect behind cover? I always assumed it didn’t, it was kinda put on the build because I had energy and PS left so it sort of a ‘why not’ addition which I find can help sometimes.
lol, I didn’t use to think it worked as a radar detector either, so scrapped the one I got with the BP.
But was playing long range builds more this year, and got sick of people creeping up on me, so I crafted one using a workpiece.
I’m pretty sure it does work as a detector, although it’s possible that I’ve just been lucky enough to always have a teammate with a doppler most matches.
You might consider swapping the maxwell for an interceptor. They’re small and easy to hide, and a good counter against kapkans/Yaoguai/kings.
That is always an advantage to playing low PS with High PS weapons.
Tvl what kind of mental crazies was that. So instead of one kep and the rest go after you. You can see the intelligence of some players. That is, if it didn’t beat ai
Testing in the garage now and it doesn’t look like it does the ‘behind cover’ aspect which I think is the most useful… you can see when I use the little shed as cover the Levi and build go off radar, perhaps you have been getting lucky lol
DVR site is so slow, wish I could upload directly to my PC’s SSD from my Xbox lol
Yeah they spent the first half chasing and getting kapkanned so I suppose they were disheartened… dodging me on cap was their best choice, I’ve had bots do that and literally win due to not being able to judge their movements lol
Even bots run multiple legendaries and even relics at 7-8k, you’re so deep in denial and cope for such a successful grown man lol.
Weird, but it does show enemies behind cover if they cloak (or at least it seems like it to me).
Guess I should test everything before I make assumptions.
Nevertheless, I haven’t regretted running only a verifier on the builds that I use it on. But I usually have a radar as well on those.
pretty sure it does. I just bought one last month but, admittedly, have not had a lot of time to play lately. It’ll beep and a grey circle will show up on the other side of a building.
My video above debunks that, it does enemies in cloak behind cover but not regular
