Do you ever?

unless i’m not paying attention to anything(like most of us do)…

Precisely

I didn’t see the query answered elsewhere…

The Verifier is only good for 200m

My fused Doppler is good for 460… huge difference, and it shows stuff behind cover.

My tests back up what XO was saying about them.

This is a bit off-topic, but does anyone know if you can share the verifier signal with your team (assuming you are running a radio like you should)?
Like, can they see the ghost dots of cloaked enemies?

Right! That is how it started, not realizing I was alone, and then it turned into a chase for 90 seconds. They did kill me before 5 minutes. I knew they would eventually kill me, but I made them work for it.
Then, like others said, they could have just capped, but they wanted me dead, and they succeeded.
Thanks for your reply/

Thanks for honestly posting. This was definitely hopeless, but they had my scent, I was not going to escape alive, I just got caught up in running away and dodging. When I realized I was alone, I just kept running anyway.

Afterward, I was kind of mixed feelings about it, glad for my opponents who had the challenge of killing me, but bad for my allies 90 seconds wasted.
All the replies sort of verify the way I felt about it. So, I may still do it once in awhile because every time I turn around I am the last alive. All the fricking time I am last to die. I will try to limit my stalling.
Thank you and everyone!

I really don’t care if you feel like running about and doing a little cat’n mouse (I might roll my eyes a little).

I’m OK with skipping it and going back to the queue. It isn’t a big deal to me, and I rarely stay for the drone-boat chase scene routine. Not a problem…unless it’s a Copper Patrol, then I’m more pressed to stay because it cost me gas to participate in that mode, and then the prolonged chase scene becomes a little irritating. In that case, I’m not just getting the shaft on rewards for leaving early, but I’m also loosing the value of my petrol if I leave too, so then I feel more forced to stay and watch. It’s more of a drag then, otherwise I do not care at all. I’m good to just bail and jump into another queue. Have fun. Give’m hell.

I should add, that as long as I have wheels and my passive melee, I am a threat. Many times, using cloak and detector, I ram an unsuspecting enemy, while out of ammo of course, and get lucky and something explodes, and I turn a 180 and ram him again! Other times you ram the guy head on and now he is on fire! Ram him again!
But these guys were too mobile, working as a team, one versus four, not ramming each other, no opening to attack one away from the others, no cloaking to escape, all I could do was run.

But running and ramming has won me games when out of ammo and having the capture point lead helps.

i think the only option is to mark the target by hitting “v”. IRON_DOG was a big user of the verifier and, when teamed up with him, I never saw anything out of the ordinary on the radar.

The game is really bad, 0 fun. I don’t understand how anyone can stand for this crap.

This match lasted 10 s

Nothing is hopeless until it ends.

Until the bitter end.

I personally think who SD to shorten the battle is nothing but a coward, though luck for the rest, they had their chance and they blew it. They should not manifest

It’s not about the size of the dog in a fight, it’s all about the size of the fight in a dog.

IRL, people have call me stubborn as hell… i see it as perseverance… a desirable trait.

The complaining is inherent to running handicap weapons. Certain weapons and throwing games the moment there is a 1v1 are synonymous. A droner can make a 10s cleanup of two flaming players into a one minute ordeal where they nearly lose anyways and get completely and entirely let down in every situation by their awful weapon choice. No amount of skill or luck will have a droner crack shot 1 tap some power player turning the game, they are reduced to doing a few hundred cab damage every so often regardless of skill or positioning.

I thought it was your only build for a while.

@ OP, everyone collects their SALT in their own way, just add those pm’s to your jar.

It was my first Kami build, so I got addicted to the speed and the 360 degree firing angle and all the modules… it was pretty fun
