Free to Play Psychology & CrossOut

Why bother he’s probably 35ish and living in his parents basement with no life. Probably also has an under aged sister living on a floor above him doing posting for him when he gets banned just to get him out of her hair…

I personally think that while Crossout is free to play, you need to pay to have any fun with it. Every aspect of the game is designed indirectly or blatantly to milk out money from the players and give any paying person much more parts and fun from the game than any free to play person could ever hope to achieve

They have toned it down though, but out of only being forced to do so rather than the goodness of their hearts. The money grabbiness is still there, just not so blatantly in your face anymore, yet very thinly veiled to the point that you can’t ignore it even if you’d want to.

Game is heavily focused towards people who pump money into it and buy all the cool new virtual toys, and the people who do not are an afterthought at best

Good kid. Sending my respect :cowboy_hat_face:

Frankly, there are a few games that do XO things better. Namely, crafting.

Roblox, MineCraft… What else? I’m all ears. I don’t follow gaming well at all.

Not really them… they are “too” child-ish for my taste. Kindly do not look on the words below so XO won’t be undermined

Terratech gives you a vehicular combat crafting experience.

Trailmaker is more for creative thinking; there’s no PvP as far as I know.

Space Engineers I haven’t tried but it looks like crafting game, with many DLC for which you have to pay. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? :upside_down_face:

I could’ve named other games, but I’m pretty sure it breaks the forum rules and my other suggestions are more of survival or purely crafting games. I just named something that at least partially falls into “vehicular craft” category.

Well, there’s HTA from Targem, too, but right now it’s unplayable.

None of those games you mentioned have that Crossout vibe like max max + twisted metal + assembling your own war machine

  • have a whole mmo system working out like xo ( constant update new stuff new event / weap

Space engineers is 100 times better “crafting” and “building” game than OX.

Not saying it’s a better game over all, or that it has the twisted metal play, but it is kind of hard to deny the superiority in the craft/build part.

Well, heck… I think Roblox has a better building part of the game. At least it has “mirror build” capability.

“Mad Max vibe” does not equal “vehicular craft”

“Twisted metal” does not equal “vehicular craft”.

That one they do have.

“MMO system” does not equal “constant update”

“MMO system” does not equal “vehicular craft”.

You may bother me again when you learn to think. Other than that, I’m finishing this free lesson.

still waiting darling. you know, its one thing to claim easily disprovable things on the internet. another to double down on them. you even uploaded a whole video instead of simply following my guide for dummies on how to prove youre not lying. ofc the sycophants in this neck of the woods desperately want to believe you but its really suspicious to claim something, get called out on it, then go through immense lengths not to show readily available proof. if you have a brain, youre going to have to call bullshit.

i dont know what monitor you have. you play with mnk too, on console? lmao. i believe you that you have relics, as you have indeed proved it. but, i never made the case that only people who own relics get to talk on the subject, that is entirely a straw man on your part. i said, roopull might be full crap, claiming easily disprovable things and bending over backwards not to show readily available evidence. when you come out of the left field like this you seem really insecure.

you see, when you claim something like this its much more credible because youre not trying to be cool, youre admitting to not being cool. when youre being braggadocious the opposite is the case, understand now?

i thought it was in here, but ive written about this in another post. ill reiterate: just because there are full on pay and click the win button and then win games, all the chinese straight up p2w trash, doesnt mean youre a tough guy or other less p2w games arent p2w aswell. if youre into p2w youre a sucker imo, youre not cool for having poor taste.

thats entirely false, i dont have a sister!

yesyes, its just, the crap has increased, not decreased, you got numb to gettin fd in the a is all.

you read mmo in the advertisement didnt you? the game is absolutely no mmo, 8vs8 or 6vs6 (for the pegi7 crowd) isnt massive and 2 min matches dont make a persistent world. next youll tell me the game got released last year or whenever they silently scrapped the “early access” line in their promos.

still waiting for you roopull, i believe youre not a liar, once you back up your crap. and even more importantly, all you naysayers still couldnt come up with anything to my masters undefeatable argument, not even a reaction, just simply nothing. and yes, i think thats because you got exactly nothing to counter it.

is it or is it not p2w in this scenario?

I have two accounts. The one with relics does not share the name on the forum. This was specifically called out in a discussion I had made a post about relics. Transparency. Not insecurity.

Also note: I did repost with the account name. You were right, that should have been included in the original.

its flying over my head, what is mnk? I use a monitor because its high refresh. My tv is old and shitty because I never watch it. (edit: well its always on in the background though)

Oh really:

I’m not really into building stuff myself

really enjoy just download and assemble blueprint and admiring others creativity

So can anyone name me one vehicular combat game that play & have the similarities of Crossout ?

My advice… put that clown on ignore. He doesn’t even know if he has a sister or if he uses alt accounts. I only know he posts when one of you quotes him.

There are games that share similarities, but none that approach the aesthetics of CrossOut. The closest I’ve played with the waging combat with something you’ve built is Roblox.

One that has very similar aesthetics is the official Mad Max game from a few years ago. I got it on sale on Steam a while back. If you like storyline games, it’s probably right up your alley. If you like crafting (which you said you don’t) it’d suck.

I got bored of it pretty quick, but that says more about me than the game. I get bored with every game in that genre.

Here’s the hint: read all my messages in this topic. Specifically the ones which were posted before the message you butthurted on.

Your price will be a hundred quids.

I just can’t swallow Roblox graphics style

Lol who doesn’t love that official mad max game

I literally stopped playing at 30% because I don’t want it to end

That studio has been good at crafting open world games

This is what gets me too man. The style just kills it for me.

I second the previous two posts.
That being said, it’s a blast to play. It doesn’t hold my attention, but it can be hilarious… And if you know what kind of stupid crap I take into battle on Crossout, imagine what I’ve done in Roblox. :flushed:

never done RBX or MC.
