Game is expiring

If the developers weren’t all about the money and started putting the game on the market. Then it would be about something else. But that’s not going to happen, greed prevails.

     :joy: :joy:

all i see people are angry on Gaijin using Greeeeedy strategy.

but crying about it dont mean game is dying, game even expanding with players.
Just see graphs, i dont think Steam charts lie.
Also remember about non-steam players + xbox players that might be merged to pc ones too.
So in fact Crossout currently counting all players, in steam might be in top 50 for sure.

Just like RoughMonkey said, most players could seem new players now. But its normal for most games after years.
If you didnt played a lot of games, you might not know it. If you played a lot, you should know it.

Myself i can cry with you about Greeeedy strategy, but game have more players, fact is fact. They could have even more ofc if managing better, but still… fact is fact. There are many games that were dying, its not happening here.

Its only steam, it doesnt matter “boi”

I have already explain how it works, thats why “keep dreaming”

again zero-argument boi

I did follow, and i play since beginning. Where your screenshots or some real argument, not just your “guessing” i didnt play before or didnt follow player amount.

I’m too old for it but I’ll take it as a compliment if you like that word so much

To the rest Idc about your steam Im a PS player and Ik what Im talking about, Im just too lazy to dig old screanshots to prove my point, think what you want Idc.

so you are JUST PS player… oh lol. that explain a lot.

CRY CRY CRY thats all you do dreamer

Steam charts show an influx because they shut down the Chinese version of the game so a tonne of players now vpn into our version of Crossout.

New players at high PS is nothing more than battlepasses giving out legendary generators, cabins, weapons and other movement parts… anyone can hit 13k+ with the stuff that’s being given out for $10

ye, if last jump was about Chineese version, then still playerbase is all the same all time, compared to other games who drop only.

no worry, i know you didnt expect me to post screenshot how you remove your funny posts, so you needed invent something in place now that still show your mental state.

Because there’s no player retention, the way it works is it splits a lot of level 30+ and <30 players. This then means that <30 lobbies are just a fake version of what the real game is going to be if a player stays. It takes a couple months perhaps to hit level 30 if you play a normal amount per day/week.

It keeps players playing for a period of time long enough that they may end up spending some money… but when they start getting into those higher level lobbies a lot of players decide “Oh yeah this sucks” and quit. There’s a tiny % who stay, usually whales and such, people who may have a friend group playing; the inherent grind and awful balance turns most players away from this game.

This level 0-30 period does 2 things, it keeps the player numbers up while also giving the 0-30 players time to spend money before they more than likely quit the game, I know on steam the % for the level 30 achievement is only 3.3%

hwzzEeo

95%+ of players do not get out of this annex of <30 lobbies but it keeps the numbers up long enough for new players to try the game and get stuck in the same cycle…

It’s honestly quite a clever way of making your game look not-so-dead while it’s totally dying all the time, you just have a turnover rate that’s so high. Any spent money by those who quit is just a bonus while you try to catch the whales.

yes

and you just confirm what i said in my first post:

“But still this new players need years to got 10k+ ps or months to go at least 8k+ i guess.”
that is related to this >30 level lobbies.

Also what i said here:

“Just like RoughMonkey said, most players could seem new players now. But its normal for most games after years.”

Its not about Crossout. A lot of players try game, and drop it before going into “endgame”. Its normal.

People talk about seeing “new faces” but never acknowledge players that don’t see anymore, many of which they never remembered in the first place

hehe, and i still have friends who are like 2000 days offline ;p and they also didnt get to >30

its just normal behaviour in every game that have some grinding and endgame.

How long do you expect people to play this game?

The ones of us that have been here from the beginning are the weird ones.

You say that like it’s a good thing? That’s terrible.

Games all do things differently though.

Here is Crossout

Here is WarThunder

Here is Robocraft

I often hear Robocraft used to relate to how dev decisions and certain changes ruined the game in comparison to what the devs do in Crossout… doing this kind of thing can lead to disaster as you can see

Meanwhile WarThunder, another grindy pvp with an endgame is doing great and has been on the rise ever since launch… Because it handles things better and cares more about the players experience than its own wallet.

When I play a populated game I have no clue who is new, old, fresh or a veteran; they are simply a player. You’re saying that you notice when a new person appears? That shows how dead it truly is.
