i can think of 1 thing…
like clans they fear this may be abused like in normal clans. like if someone were to leave a regular clan and just be able to hop into another right away to earn uranium or other resources.
the same might apply with this to where someone can just jump out and jump into another band and it might allow you to bypass stuff and get the rewards instantly? i am unsure really.
come to think of it when i was doing stuff like pve earlier with a few raids i wasnt earning any kind of reputation towards the confrontation thing. i only seen that go up when i did confrontation mode. but that was probably because i was fresh into it and didnt start any of the missions. it couldve changed but idk. i guess we will have to see.
I was getting rewards towards the challenges however, unless you level up your band’s ranking it doesn’t unlock all of the challenges. Each set of them has a ranked minimum to unlock them.
Confrontation only advances with rank via playing confrontation from what it looked like. I’m not really set up for it though most of my builds are in fairly random distant ps ranges.
I’m not sure yet. I think the glitch was preventing me from advancing in any of the challenges, unless they’ve set it up that you have to complete the “tutorial” challenge before unlocking the first level of challenges.
Once I start actually progressing into the real challenges I’ll have a better idea of what I can do on my own.
But like i predicted earlier before this went live, I think I will probably earn less badges as a completely solo player, but if I manage to get a small band together I’ll probably be able to earn more.
Too early to tell though.
I think we’re experiencing the glitch, and hopefully it will get fixed soon.
Yesterday I could see progress toward the challenges in the mission debrief screen, but none of it was showing up in the challenge screen. That doesn’t seem like it’s intended to be that way.
if this is the case then solo players have no hope to do anything in here unless they go into a band / clan. either by making one of their own and recruiting people or just looking for one. but i mean… not many people really want to do that.
because if you think about it they could run into troubles with it and players might be able to abuse that system if they wanted to. leave a low rank band to go into another band that has a higher rank and more done and bam, you gain access to even more weeklies and whatnot. you could do this multiple times and stack up the rewards if it refreshes everytime you enter a new band. people would abuse that if it did happen.
i hate pvp, i only like doing pve and raids. idk how thisll go though.
i cant deal with the fuel challenges LOL. they make me cringe so hard. “pvp!? YUCK!” lol. i mean a little bit of extra fuel never hurt but id rather just buy it, even then i have alot as is. though i just want to get my next relic but its going slowly
same. first day i went back into pvp just do to the fuel battlepass mission and some guy starts harassing and name calling me like a petulant child. its why i dont do pvp, cause of toxic players like them.
Previous changes KEPT solo play in focus. This one does not. I don’t think it is something many players will adjust to. This was the main way new players got the pack structural parts.
I won’t. I will just play a different game and spend my money elsewhere.
The challenges are insurmountable for those not in a clan.
