I have never noticed a sideways hover being any quicker than normal hover builds. Can someone provide video evidence of this?
While sideways is typically the choice, nova hovers remain popular as well.

I might be missing something - but where exactly did you see the often mentioned balance in this game? Most of parts are not skill/situational but very distinct good/bad choice. Like the mentioned Mandrake - I saw it ONCE being used with success. Flamethrower dogs are cursed by enemies, mandrakes despised by allies. There is a LOT of useless stuff in the tech-tree.
And some just very general over-performing meta builds. Thats how XO works.
Not faster - more responsive(?) they accelerate faster and somehow less âfloatyâ than front/backwards. Though I am not an expert on the sideways-hover-meta. Refer to above comments.
I didnât say faster. I specifically chose the word quicker because of this. But semantics aside, someone please show me a video where they are more responsive or accelerate faster. Until I see evidence, I call shenanigans.
If provided evidence, I will join in saying they should be equalized with normal hover builds.
Or you could
So your premise is hovers themselves accelerate faster in certain directions. So a sideways hover is quicker moving sideways than a normal hover build and a normal hover build accelerates quicker moving forward and back than a sideways build. Is that an accurate representation?
the sideways hover backward and forward faster then a regular build ,because they have more (grip) in this direction . Just try with a sideways legs build ,itâs even more pronounce.
So do I get the holy Crusader-pin because I never, ever use shotguns in PvP? Where do I apply for the membership card for the good-guys club?
As for hovers - I would really appreciate if legs where actually NOT hovers - as it is its laughable. Any change to hovers would currently mess with legged builds too as far as my understanding goes.
Hypocrisy* There, I corrected you, complaining about hovers in 2022 is so 2019, Hovers are one of the most hit/nerfed part in the game, if not the most! Their speed drastically lowered, the height in which they hovered lowered, power score raised, if I recall their mass/carry weight changed, acceleration changed, and maneuverability nerfed/changed. If youâre complaining about 75kph half-hovering height hovers, Iâd hate to see you play with them when they did speeds of 120 kph, turned on a dime, and hardly lost any speed when doing so at heights they hovered over most builds like they use to do! Hovers are so neutered compared to what they used to be, I suggest you slap an engine on your builds and donât overweight them that might help with you not being able to catch up to hovers?!
i disagree
they can go faster then that , if you backward and stafe at the same time.
Still doesnât changed the point that theyâre not even a quarter of what they used to be, so they go 85kph while going backwards and strafing? No one drives like that the whole time
True, but every seconds matters in a sweaty CB match.
If this is true, then what are you crying about? Clearly hovers arenât OP if you are able to stay in the top ten while using wheels.
99.99% is hover sideways hover in top10. Top5 100% sideways hover.Top1 sideways hovers (cronus zen or KBM and stream snipe).
So youâre crying because you canât make it into the top 5? Give me a break dude.
Hovers are still doggy doodoo in a garbage can compare to what they used to be like, their good movement parts but nowhere near as good they were years ago
They are too fast . They need a rework not a nerf . Less speed , less acceleration, more tonnage and more durability.
Nah, hovers are just fine how they are now, the real issue is they lowering the speed of all vehicles, if you want them slower then I would say they should hover at pre-2018 heights/double what they hover at now
None of this is true.
I play since june 2017.
