How are you feeling about the balance of the game?

Machine guns used to be kind of weak a few years ago. Like not horrible, but pretty hard to score big with, and generally too easy to degun.

indeed, but they nerfed every weapon except machine guns.

That’s why I’m not investing in any machine guns right now. Pretty obvious a nerf is on its way, or at least a big buff of something else (I would say cannons are underpowered right now).

The entire time I’ve been playing, machine guns and shotguns have been viable weapons through every nerf and buff. That’s something like 5 years.

If there are weapons is safe to recommend, these are our - especially the lower tier ones that still only draw 3 energy.

and that is why those “safe” weapons need to rebalanced versus the people who dont use them.

I have dual mastodons on wheels for about a month now.

The fact that i can kill a spider usually faster and easier than a hover with them should tell you all you need to know about the state of the game right now.

Nobody would be complaining about space armor if it wasnt for hovers abusing frames+space armor+speedtanking to tank more than the heaviest builds in the game.

Its the exact same reason why kami and cockpit wheel breakers are pretty much the next best thing to hovers, the cabin is so flat that you have to be looking it from above to hit it… Which most times means you have to go through the entirety of its wheels+frames+armor until you reach effective damage, thus hitting the omamori protected guns is your best choice, good luck with that without precision weapons.

Yup, all reloading weapons got the nerf bat in many ways along with losing an energy point with the colossus change. Perhaps that made mgs with fused seals way more appealing.
