I think this forum is dying

Looking at the reduced number of posts and replies over the last few months, it looks like this forum is dying.

Because the devs only care about Discord unfortunately.

i mean i still reply here and post when theres something to talk about. here is better then reddit anyways cause of reddit users being nothing but trolls and dont want their precious game to get better.
still though… i have noticed things slowing down a bit. kinda sad if you ask me.

There’s not much left to discuss, same bad parts are still bad, same op easywin parts are still way too good compared to the “common” parts, dev team fumbles around doing some half assed things, game is just please give money update after please give money update, nothing but passes and ignoring most traditional events, lackluster recycled rewards in a continuous spam of brawls (droneapocalypse will be fun though even if it gives just crackers I’ll be playing lots of that even if I am not crafting anything)

But honestly there really is not much more to say, every complaint has been made and nothing has been done about it, and what is there to say about any new battle pass or mini pass except wow look at them milking money or wow this new part is op and it’ll be nerfed once the next big pass comes out so they can sell more passes

People can kinda see the writing on the wall on how either the entire team for this game was replaced by bumbling idiots, or the old devs still around just can’t give a flying fuck, and how it’s just money milking and catering to whales because they fucked up getting new players to the point that nobody will touch this game with it’s reputation in current or future year. Game’s been a zombie for a while now and month by month they give up trying to pretend it’s not a little bit more

That and not many topics to talk about, once again bringing it back to all the threads have been already made and discussed for the most part and then no change has happened other than flavor of the pass op parts added to the game and then nerfed eventually. Every op old part has been discussed why it is op, every old bad part has been discussed why it’s bad, and slice of life topics really do not interest anyone

I wonder if they somehow got a huge bag of money, if the game could improve.

Maybe money is so low for the devs that’s why the games failing \ struggling?

Money does in fact solve every problem, unfortunately.

If they had more $$$ they could tripple their employees.
We could get new maps every 6 months at least etc etc etc.

But there’s Soooo many suggestions from the players \ Community that’s ignored.

Plus out of any community unfortunately crossout’s seems to be the most Toxic.

Either my suggestions are ignored, or i’m attacked heavily. Lots of agreements but those quiet up once the attacks start.

Money is unfortunately all that matters in life.

ive noticed this and its mostly heavily the wallet warriors or people who dont want change in the game. they dont want new modes or anything because “it wont bring money into the game” which, im sorry but, is blatantly stupid to say. if we dont have new modes and everything is temporary in the game then do you honestly think people will stick around? look at how the games run. tons of wallet warriors driving any new people out of the game with seal clubbing and people fricken defending it. squalls are 800 ps and can easily be brought into matches with low ps players or beginners and they are practically defenceless against them. a ps bump is needed but, of course, you got the wallet warriors defending it trying to justify their poor reasons to keep it that way.

i had posted several ideas before in reddit but im either down voted into oblivion for them or attacked for it. its like the wallet warriors of the game only want weapons and thats it. its like having a store but your only selling 3 items in a small area and the rest of your 500 square foot store is nothing but empty space. i suggested cups like brawls where you fight waves of enemies for resources with different tiers and rewards, nope the wallet warriors dont want it. i suggested a dark mode that you keep a generator going to keep the lights on and if they go out bad things happen, a few people liked it but, again, wallet warriors and not wanting change.
the excuse for these is “itll split up the already small playerbase!” well it wouldnt be small if you troglodytes would stop running every new fricken player out of the game with your seal clubbing now would it!?

i even suggested things against seal clubbing like raising the ps on the squall, i complained about a few things before release to and i would get attacked for it.
like hoooooly crap dude i NEVER seen a community as toxic as crossouts.

the funny thing is i seen people enraged over the king duck and i seen a couple people being toxic there even making fun of the posters, well the toxicity was not being tolerated and the trolls got attacked. seems people were not putting up with the trolls toxicity. one post even had over 120 upvotes which is the most i seen in a crossout post.

i even posted about being tired of the games monitization tactics to, of course i got the occasional troll but they got shut down. especially by me cause i wasnt putting up with their toxic crap about them justifying the BS monitization of this game through predatory battlepasses / mini battlepasses. my post got many upvotes, i think over 50 at that time.

reddit is just a toxic cesspool for the wallet warriors and trolls of crossout. i really cant take crossout seriously.

We all have our theories about why the forum might not be as busy as it once was, and they all have some merit.

Forums themselves are pretty old school at this point, so it’s to be expected that this one isn’t so busy anymore.

The game itself has been around for quite a while now, so it should be expected that most of the longtime players have moved on to other games, and newer players are more likely to turn to the Reddit and Discord for a variety of reasons.

And I would agree that the quality of posts on the forum is likely an issue as well. Very few people want to spend their lives reading about other people’s meltdowns over video game fairness, and a small number of very active posters have turned the forum into that. It’s become a place for a few people to obsessively vent, for a shrinking audience.

Also, forums are usually busier when there are lots of debates and arguments going on to keep things interesting. I think there are a few reasons why we don’t see much lively discussion going on anymore, but one of them is definitely that the community here has a history of ganging up on posters who disagree with some of the more active members. There’s a lot less viewpoint diversity now, and that makes for a boring forum.

sounds like another day on reddit to me lol.
