That’s a good point, and it reminded me of how much work they’ve done on other aspects of the game…and still managed to get the Battle pass out the door. The tail end of it looks a little rushed, probably, but it’s all good. Whatever. $9.99. Fine.
It would be easier to accept if I didn’t dislike some of the new features so much, like the new build interface. I liked the old one better. Lots better. I miss it. I wish they hadn’t done that, but I do like the new sound files they’ve picked for the build feature. It’s where I like to spend most of my game time, so having that horrible “CLANK!” replaced with the new audio is very much appreciated by me.
I find the alternating rattles of the paint can oddly satisfying. It just feels good for some weird reason. The Stickers “feel” good too.
Those are the kind of things that I like about Crossout, and why it’s so hard to just quit.
I mean, really? That’s a lot of attention to detail. I love that stuff. The haunted mannequin that roamed about the garage was great, I thought. I know a lot of people might not care, and just want to get to their META-mobile and pwn some noobs, but I do. It’s the alternate universe I want to be a part of, and I love thier style at Crossout. The score board matters less than the immersion, to me…unfortunately for me they are often intertwined in a thing they like to call “The Grind.”
