New part ideas

A light or medium cabin with a perk where when using wheels as movement parts and holding hand break and staying still it’ll start to rev up the engine, building out a charge and when you let go of the hand break, it’ll shoot off into the direction you are facing, speed and distance depending on how many charges were charged up.

Basically you need to come to a full stop, and then keep holding the handbreak and in the next 3 seconds you’ll build up 1 charge per sec or every 1.5 sec, max charges cap at 3. It would take around two seconds of being “parked” before you start to build up any charges, but once you do you won’t automatically use them once you’re max charge, only once you let go of the handbreak.

The charges could work like
1 charge = launched forward 50km/h for 1 second
2 = 85km/h for 2 seconds
3= 105km/h for 3 seconds
During this “rush” you can’t steer into any direction but only move in a straight line towards where the front of your build was pointing, and you have super increased power as the rush happens so you can push even the heaviest of builds forward or bump them out of your way, so you won’t realistically come to a halt as you’re moving forward because of this perk, even if you were to run into a leviathan.

Or something along those lines, basically stay still with handbreak on, build charges, let go of break and launch forward

I thought it was a really cool idea and we don’t have anything like that yet.

A legendary medium cabin that has a perk that gives +2 energy but only if parts (guns) that drain 6 energy are attached. So basically a cabin that lets you put 3 6-energy guns onto your build but also won’t let you attach any modules that drain energy or an infinite amount of light machine guns.

An epic heavy cabin that has a perk that makes generators attached to it give a +1 energy, but also if the generator gets destroyed your cab gets -1 energy from it’s total energy, bringing it down to 10 base energy in a battle once your generator is gone.

A cabin with a perk that can be activated, that makes your build turn invisible in the view of scopes, but does not make you invisible in any other ways, meaning basically that you can’t be seen in a scope but once they turn off the scope you’re instantly visible again. Hitting you etc won’t make you reappear like with regular cloaks, you’re invisible as long as the perk is in effect if anyone tries to see you with a scope

A support drone in the style of Yaoguai/Vulture, but this one targets the cabs of teammates that have any parts on them that are heated (orange glow, not guns that are cooling off) and then dives down like a Vulture drone, attaches to the build and instantly provides a quick cooling blast that instantly cools down any parts that have been heated on the build it is attached to. Only provides 1 cooling per drone, does not target enemy drones or mines. Consumes little energy, like 2, quick reload.

And I still want that Impulse cannon with minimal damage or no damage at all, but huge impulse
Or a pneumatic puncher you can use to knockback facehugging enemies

Cosmetic modules that you can only mount 1 per build, does not consume any energy, but changes things like fire or laser or energy weapon color or muzzle flash color

So basically you can make your laser green or blue, or your flames green or blue, or give a bright red muzzle flash, change the color of quasar shots and so on

I think this game needs a lot more structure and decal parts

Two speed transmission module. Low gear mode boosts your acceleration significantly, but caps your top speed. High gear boosts your top speed, but lowers your acceleration.

I suggested on the old forum once that they should do structure part CKs packs so parts could match up better across factions. I was thinking that it would give a lot of new life to old parts.

That would be really useful.

There are actual structural part “CKs” bur we regular players do not have acess to them, but bots do, they have the same stats and mounting points, but have different all around looks…

There are tons of parts not acesssible to us from boosters that do not consume fuel, engines that explode, and the two Original legendary cabins which both are more than tiwce the size of cohort…

We also have wheels that are literally bigger than the whole humpback cabin, ravager founder’s parts variants, regular ravager parts and cabins, the artilhary from the caged beast mission, ground “anchors”, leviathan exclusive armor pieces which a lot are a half, or even the same size as the humpback…

Even all those large “trucks” we see abandoned around the maps are actual build-able vehicles that just happen to use developer only parts, the fact that a lot of those just straight up use regular parts as well just confirm it

Recently we are even starting to see vehicles with these parts starting to appear in the exibithion!!!

A distraction cabin, with a perk that makes upon activation 3-4 decoy marks appear around you on the minimap/map and move around in a somewhat believable pattern while driving alongside you. Basically you can drive towards the enemy by yourself and the enemy team using radars is thinking that the opposing team split into two, and instead of 1 build driving towards them 4 are heading their way from that direction.

Also usable in one single player holding the position at a predictable spot on the map with the perk active, making the enemy think that a large number of the enemy team is at that position, while in fact the team has not split into two groups but a single group and a 1 lone build creating a distraction.

And it could also be used so that if you time it right, the perk runs out as you approach the enemy and anyone looking at the minimap would think that a bunch of cloaked up builds are heading their way from that direction.

A 1 energy drone targeting parameter hacker
Fancy way of saying a module that makes your drones ignore mines, turrets and enemy drones and instead only target enemy players s they can’t be distracted by an enemy spamming mines

A limited firing angle, fuckhuge, relic gattling cannon, roughly the size of the Typhoon but girthier, 7 energy consumption, 5cm caliber, slow rate of fire (like 3 shots / sec), no heating but ammo consumption, fuckhuge recoil, but the perk would mitigate it for the first 5 secs of firing.

But remember to stay on target with them!

a 7 energy fixed angle cannon, that acts like an executioner on steroids, the shell travels extremely fast, almost like it is a hitscan weapon, and in an extremely straight line and very far. But to get it to shoot like that, you have to be driving at least 70km/h, any lower than that and you’ll pretty much fire your shell with a shell flight arc of an Avalanche mortar.

But to compensate to that, after firing and as it starts to reload, it needs to relieve internal pressure and from behind the gun does a little 2-second long pressure relief that pretty much acts like a booster, 3 hermes worth per cannon. But only if you did a powered shot, if you shot it without going 70km/h or higher, you won’t get the “afterburn” effect as the gun loads

So basically you need to drive fast to be able to shoot it with insane speed and accuracy, and after firing it’ll suddenly boost you forward, which can be a good thing or a bad thing, you might ram into an enemy, die yourself from said ramming, accidentally drive right into a map object and even get stuck.

The idea behind the cannon is that it builds up pressure inside the cannon for the insane shot speed and accuracy from your own builds exhaust or something (the 70km/h requirement) but after shooting it needs to vent out the extra pressure so the gun won’t explode (the 2 second boost). The venting won’t happen instantly after you have fired, like 1 second after you’ve fired the cannon, and the reload is much longer than the sudden rocket boost after firing. Also the strength of the boost (6 hermes worth if you’re running 2 of these) makes it kinda hard to steer once the kickback happens

Stats wise they’d have nice hp, be just a hint bigger than an executioner but not weight as much as you’d think

I’d really like some medium sized recoilless cannons that does blowback fire damage out the rear while firing. This should be a limited angle cannon. I’m not sure what the energy cost should be though. This would allow the weapon to be fired as a defensive counterstrike towards rear attacks.

Spotter drone: A drone that could only be released when there is open sky above the player. When released, it would fly up into the sky let’s say, 60 meters high, and stay there for a given period of time before self-destructing. While active, the drone would do two things: spot enemies in its direct line of sight withing a given distance, and also, if the player who released the drone zooms in, their camera view would switch to the drone. This would make Mandrakes and Heathers considerably more useful.

I suggested something similar for laser guided rockets once but for team play… i.e. someone could launch the balloon and anyone on the team could use it. If you launched a rocket while using that camera view you could laser point from that vantage point using the balloons laser to aim to the target.
