your forgetting though that its the player that decides weather or not the game is worth putting 10 dollars, 20 dollars or more into it. packs are expensive man. and honestly i dont think its worth it at this time. they need to add more modes to the game.
your missing the point. the game is VERY grind heavy and scrap gets worn out very quickly. i dont do pvp and i hate pvp, so for a player like myself i rely on events and dailies as well as patrol vs ai to get my scrap. it took me a VERY long time to get all my weapons, wheels, modules, etc that i have. clan wars helps to speed it up but its not reliable. packs are very expensive and even buying coins is overpriced. yeah you can grind it out but it takes a very VERY long time to get anywhere. i have a few relics myself but it took me such a long time to get them.
the one where the ravagers try to touch our cars to turn them into ravagers? i dont mind that mode.
meh, i never played this mode.
scrap doesnt sell for much. being the most common resource its not really going to get you much coins. plus the price on scrap has dropped quite a bit.
Why do some people get hell bent on something? Somehow … someway these people got their toes stepped on and now they are hell bent to get retaliation on the game/maker or players with good attitudes. To all that this concerns … if Crossout is that bad and it upsets you so much why dont you simply find another game! Maybe you just want to be noticed by everyone and you will fight your point to the end for a terrible injustice. lol Its their game … we dont own this game … its free to play.
Quickly here cause I want to play and not waste time here but … I play every aspect of this game …yes all the brawls/raids/Invasion/Levi/CW I love it …I sign up to 50% off sub and grind like crazy … in 5 months … I became owner of 20 active clan members that get 4000 badges weekly … I have 15 or so Legendary weapons .100a of epic… I see on the market and make at least 50 coin everyday … etc …etc … Dont tell me you cant get somewhere fast in this game! I sell legendary and make 1000coin!! I have friends with great attitudes that are so freaking much fun to play with … I wish you all happiness in this game!! bye Im playing now.
Lol - you compared a small company in Russia to triple AAA game studios
XO does not need to be the next WOW to be highly successful. Just being open 6 years is a HUGE success for many Indy game studios. They only need enough money to pay the bill to be a success - you don’t need huge piles of surplus money.
If I open a local shop do I need to bet Amazon to be a success?
i can tell you that you cant get somewhere fast because its true man. im a SOLO PLAYER. i do not like to join clans, i dont like to do clan wars, its not my thing. sure back in the day i did clan wars and yes if you do clan wars you can earn alot of coin just off the uranium alone should you get that far. i myself dont do pvp, clan confrontation, clan wars or any other mode in pvp apart from dronepocalypse which i max out my scrap cap for the week everytime it comes in. but its like i said everything requires alot to make in here. scrap is used in pretty much everything you build manually and you use alot of it. sure you can max out your scrap cap for the week and make whatever you want with that 6k scrap you get but thats barely enough for an epic let alone a legendary. selling it off doesnt net you a whole lot of cash either, copper goes for small amounts of money to. i normally do raids for plastic for all my money.
no i dont play the market buying and selling stuff because i dont care about prices and whatnot, i play the game to have fun, not to worry about price increases or decreases.
and its not like i dont grind either, i play to get scrap in patrol vs ai (which they need to increase the reward from that), i do raids for copper, plastic, electronics and use badges for batteries or wires should i need them.
crossout has always been a grind, i guess the clan confrontation made a slight change but still, for solo players it hasnt changed much.
I don’t think it would work at least for the format the majority of raids are in now. They would need 2 to 4 times the players to just show up for playing enemies or you can’t get away with the feel of a swarm. Then there’s an issue of power balance for the match which is often why with brawls they fall back on the concept of premade vehicles. Beyond that the rewards will have to be smaller or the market will slump on the resource awarded to keep the same output rate were talking 2/3rds to the winning side 1/3rd to the losing side out of maybe 12 pieces which is the lowest output for raids. Speaking for myself I’m not going to play a match that takes the same amount of time as a raid for less resources.
For the basic raids to be more popular I think they just need to be more open ended in what needs to be done like Op Gozu was. As far as raids go that was at least immersive in how it responded to what players were doing. Rather than just wait for swarm, kill swarm, repeat cycle that many of the raids currently follow. Similarly the redone chase was popular until players wrecked it with exploitive builds.
I think they would be better off with a batch of large rotating themed seasonal pvp brawls. These could be cycle through each of the resources, so no single resource is overly tanked in the market (skip copper and scrap as those have to be more stable for new players to earn from).
I would like to see two full time slaughter modes run consistently though they could be swapped on a time window with one of the two always running:
Mode 1: (Solo, No teams) - win condition: 10 count frag match
Mode 2: (Solo random team or Team) win condition: 10k points for team
Both Data theft and War for fire @ easy difficulty can be done solo with an 8k vehicle. So I think they should think about moving them and rescaling them to be solo raids. Or change bands around a bit so players can be in both a band and a clan at the same time rather than clans just be the large form of a band. Then some of these classic raids that are a bit too easy could be handed out as a band grows. Easy requires 1 player, normal 2-3, hard 3-4… Raids retooled like this could be run anytime outside of the rotating schedule. Replace their slots on the schedule with something new.
It is a level of success that 95% of all businesses opened never reach. (this percentage closes within the first 5 years). This is why I keep pointing out that XO’s f2p model only needs about 6-10k players to be lucrative. It is why I am so harsh on the “look at steam count” threads that show the game has 6k players…and it doesn’t show the consoles at all nor non steam pc accounts.
I thought we might see some of the BP events like the twisted metal one thrown into permanent brawl rotation at the end of the event. But alas. no.
Oh they just literally released new structural parts but guess what, it’s behind a paywall

Plus in my country’s funds, this pack is 42$ for a basic pack with 1500 gold…
Damn last time I bought a 1500 gold pack it was around 35$ and that was less than a year ago, so the same cash grab but more cash required, doesn’t make me want to buy stuff from Targem/Gaijin but has the opposite effect!
Some of the decor stuff doesn’t end up as badge exchange items, which is unfortunate, but I guess that’s to allow people who buy packs to profit from selling decor.
I am glad the structure parts end up available to us though, as it has allowed me to never buy a pack and still have lots of parts.
Pink Sunrise is a soccer paint that hasn’t been seen since 2021! I’ll take one can. To complete my collection, I now need Caramel Clouds and Summer Sunset.
Brother you are only playing a very small % of the game. The market is essential in this game. I will share a little secret with you. You can get anything or everything by learning how to work the market. Its not rocket science. First … never sell your resources. Use them to craft items. take your new items ina game and earn some patches and medals and resources. Medals and patches need to be earned on every level of weapon and type so to play game properly you will need at least 1 of every weapon tier. When you earned the patches/medals you can sell that item on the market for pure profit because you crafted it with free resources you got. Now the ball is rolling …you are on your way…eventually you craft … basically for free… very expensive weapons/items … now when you sell those you will get 3000 coin. You HAVE to learn the market … take it slow and easy at first … baby steps. As far as being a solo player … stop being silly…clans come in all flavors.(different people /different countries …happy /mean … serious or not so. There IS a clan out there that fits you. My clan better not have mean or creepy people in it or nobody will want to be in it. Try it …you need 4000 badges a week! Are you playing the right game ? why wouldnt you want to play PvP … its the game. you will never get enough resources playing PvE. Good luck hope this helped
