I gave it a whirl, I did.
I had to use the Seagull, because I don’t have the Falco, and didn’t want to get one either.
It works pretty good, I reckon. I played four matches, we won all four, and I survived and did fair to well (no MVP) each time. Considering that I’m neither a Cannoneer or a copter enthusiast, I’d say it went good.
It does have a teal reload module tucked in there, but neither of the Judges are fused. It’d be more menacing if they were fused for reload, probably. Also, I only used one ammo pack. It was plenty.

Man, to each their own, if you like helis, knock yourself out with people like you, the 2K chopper is all i need, i use it when i hit the wall in the missions and have to do those missions with rotors, after all, currently i’m after the second plow in the Next step challenge.
Devs messed out with the weapons balancing, but they introduced helis in the right way, not trying to shove them down our throats.

I will speak for myself, i play on the ground and always built for something, to counter something, the times i was successful at that, the build turned out to be good against additional type of builds
I’m not willing to give that up because of helis, if i start to build for helis it will make me weaker against what i’m building for in the first place.
Even on the ground, my builds are good against 1, 2 other type of builds and not as good against others, the majority of them

I used to play medium builds, though medium builds, then the codriver hit the live server and my most successful build died, i went heavy cabin, my current medium build has the same armour pieces and layout of my heavy build i managed to keep that one alive despite the countless nerfs it suffered, it’s a mini brick, it’s a heavy brick in a medium package.
It’s not about that
I assure you it’s not boring, i’m talking about my primary prey, in the end you gamble every time you go after one, they can revert the situation or not, if they don’t revert the situation, you know immediately, you won, you can smell their panic and their realization they are going to lose. and see them wasting their ammo on me
With that being said, not always you are successful, just yesterday in the desert valley map i saw one of those bastards hitting me across the map, not even a player, soft me up for others that were pressuring me at close range.
I’m going hutting that black silhouette today, it had two white eyes ( most probably the headlamps).
So you see, there’s nothing boring about that.
In my SG times i could waste bigger builds than mine, withstand amounts of damage and face fire dogs and sparkly dogs as well, those, i eat them alive as much they would win over me, dogs were definitely OP for the most of us. ( not as much for me ).
What i’m trying to say is…
If everyone would spent time trying to do a counter to whatever Meta, those Metas would be not as successful. they would encounter more resistance.

I beef my build even more and now it has it’s days against regular meta melee builds, in the last 2 days Sunday and yesterday i bagged 4 or 5 melee builds. ( one with help ).
Building for helis? Nah, i don’t think so, specially now my primary target is trending

Also Copters are more fun in air to air now for some reason… except for when dealing with zap copters.
My current copter, 4x pyers, 1x Joule. on a spider cab. 3.7k HP at 12k.
Tanky as hell in air to air. mainly built for air to ground and copter distraction. seriously some times flying around spamming plink shots, and hitting with missiles when I can.

Yea i could counter argument but i wont and i will chicken out of this thread because i had a fight with my wife and now a possible divorce coming up that will make me lose my house and everything i worked for so many years … so yea i lost the motivation to care for this game or balance or anything currently.
