I disagree.
What i like from Next Step.
Respawn and smaller teams, point system ( that could replace the cap system), points for killing instead of capping, the first team that reaches the amount of points, wins and the game ends .
Being in a smaller team leads players to seek safety in numbers, so they try to be together more often that translate in a more tight unit, if we add to that the possibility to be more aggressive, better yet.
Once they meet, both teams are in an endless brawl only interrupted when somebody gets destroyed and/or one of the teams loses consistency
the helis are just an annoyance if we can’t ignore them.
The fact that the rewards are higher than in classic PVP and the fact that helis are there, it’s a pretty revealing factor to me that they want to unite both player bases, after they divided.
they want everyone playing on the same “page” to simplify things for them, managing a scattered player base it’s much more difficult than a single player base.
But they did a terrible job when introducing helis, like balancing weapons, there are weapons that got destroyed in the process, weapons that are trash on the ground or excellent in the air and vice versa was the result.
I mean, how hard can it be? copy/paste + different stats+ new skin = a brand new weapon for the air, But no, they had to mess up with already existent weapons without taking in account how different the environment is in both scenarios and how different would be their performance.
Other problem is, i always knew this game as a brawl, and with helis, it isn’t so much, with a slower pace, and we virtually don’t have to make physic contact with the opponent, for a SGunner it’s hard to follow, in other words they are trying to be what they never were.
Only to name a few.
@gangsterism and @Degalus
while i agree with you, helis must remain in a different mode i must say.
Bricks are a form of art, an exercise in perfection, in engineering, the more they can withstand the prettier they are.
Only thing i leave naked/stylish is my racing builds
