(Nov Update) Crossout: Jackpot

Further weapon testings, I think I like the Phoenix a lot more now. The 100% penetration must somehow translate to the explosions because I don’t feel the reduction of explosion radius anywhere. But it has also been ages since I played my phonixes, but I remember them sucking ballsachs.

The damage upon hit is really nice in keeping a better track of you hit an enemy or not, especially when peeking out from cover to tag enemies with the bolts.

The perk was sounded really weird because all it does is give damage resistance, instead of any “Crossbow stability”. It’s not bad though, because Phoenixes have some hp so they can make some use of the extra damage resist, but still why word it like “crossbow stability” instead of calling it what it is, damage resistance.

At least for me coming back to Phoenixes after a long while did not feel bad at all. Not instantly op but feels better than I remember

That update ucked up whole game. Now its officialy s** game.

cannons cant spam and decloak 24/7

apart from the fact that the game barely could have been worse than it already was, how did this update fuck anything up apart from cancer meta

Good update. The only big mads are the meta chasers.

I am super excited to experiment with and rebuild a bunch of my cars.
(And no, I’m not being sarcastic)

“Phdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddt…”

Is that over? Because, that alone would be an improvement.

It seems like an overly complicated solution to a problem they created for no apparent reason, but whatever. Now we have ammo pack dependency…sort of? I’m sure they won’t capitalize on that newly fabricated demand to sell products.

I haven’t played it much since the update (just a few rounds), but I didn’t really notice any difference in PVP. I’m not sure what it actually accomplished. If I hadn’t read the update, and had logged in unaware, I’m not sure I would have noticed anything had changed.

I guess I’ll change all my MG builds to Aurora laser builds. I will also armor them up worse than a Nest. Two can play this game, devs.

Umm, you’ll probably need ammo for auroras too. I need ammo now for destructors and sparks, so I’m sure auroras are in that same category.

I have 14 builds to redo so far, and haven’t even looked at my functional novelty builds yet. Maybe I’ll have time for missions by saturday or sunday.

they are. i think its stupid that small energy weapons require ammo to. the aurora doesnt even use bullets, it uses energy. the helios doesnt use ammo either, it uses plasma.
its just dumb.
also the spark uses ammo to which is mind boggling. just… why?

It could be much worse: they could have invented battery packs for energy weapons to use as ammo. At least this way people don’t need to buy something new to use the weapons effectively.

i had the thought of this. driving around charges a battery on your car and the charge is used for energy weapons. but ummm… yeah i dont want the devs getting ideas for this… lol

my bad,it was just an idea and now it’s reality.
it’s not that bad,it makes it more of strategic game than spray n pray.
and on Kaijin, i don’t see them anymore in CC.so that’s a plus.

I think Gaijin should focus on creating new maps, weapons and building components. They should keep the established weapon mechanics before patch. Now, as for the PVP confrontation, it’s just a melee weapon or an energy weapon. Important things like creating new bots, helicopters or mechs are neglected and especially for the 4th year I’ve been reminding them that the game needs a PS filter, i.e. Power Score levels in which the player could play with his build in some reasonable range. I have a PS of 13k and it gives me a match of PS 15-20k
