Its got the Harpy, Bigfeets, triple Fuse, Cheetah, and Oculus, powered with a PU-1. That’s all my ducks in a row, isn’t it?
I just have figure out how to dress it. I’m having a terrible time trying to figure out how. It keeps going over weight or running up onto the 80 part limit…or it can be a brick. I can barely get it to carry bumpers without going over weight. If I can figure it out, I’m sure I can cheese a few kills, but damn. It’s already over 7K.
Are we talking about Fuzes? If so, then No.
You drop them and then make yourself very scarce, very fast, drive around as long as you can without being seen until they reload, wash rinse repeat. You don’t want to get shot ever. Making zero direct contact with the enemy is the game. I think it leaves a lot to be desired as far as fun goes, but I’m going to give it another swing, anyway. It’s what there is, right now.
You mean for that Speed Test? Ya, probably. It may have been left over from my Call-Cobra-Barrier build probably.
I didn’t say I never use it (did I?). I just don’t use Wall-E for the Fuze.
For me, it’s exciting in a different way. Knowing that any wrong move is potentially game over keeps my adrenaline pumping, but I struggle at staying patient and picking my moments correctly.
When I get bored of trying to dodge bullets, I make big heavy brawler tanks, which sometimes work ok at mid/high PS. Gremlins or Whirls are the two I keep coming back to for that kind of build. Usually on augers.
I’ve sent you a invite.
to be able to share with you my Puncher ( med cab ) and my Storm chaser ( light cabin ) you can pick what you want.
I think i can give you a hand making it work.
you can switch the modules for the drones, modules beneath, drones on the deck.
or other way around.
2 ) use buggy floors instead of frames wherever you can
Light frames, heavy frames in key places
drop the PU-charge, that thing weighs more than most plows
I already sent you the best i have, my last version of the Puncher.
It won’t fit with your harpy, but then again you probably won’t need as heavily armed build , Storm chaser , will fit, most probably.
They are bricks, both of them
After 2 mins it usually opens up to other servers, that’s what I’ve noticed after years of very dead console play… Can’t wait to run my build on PC, alas I shall miss some of my fusions and my co driver
It’s stupid looking, but MVP is MVP, I guess. That was my second match with it. The first one was pathetic, though.
I’m pretty sure the combination of parts works (obviously, right?), but I don’t care for the aesthetics. I may see if I can get it to look like a giant Fuze drone. That might be fun. It’s almost there already.
Anyway…you know I didn’t even check to make sure what co-driver was in there…it was RT-52
I just rolled out the garage with whatever was in there. Oops? Maybe? Maybe not?
I have no idea what you are talking about here. I mean, I know what the little blue dots do, I just don’t know why you are pointing it out. I don’t get it.
Yes? When I do use that co-driver, like with turrets or barriers, then I do. I’m still a bit undecided with who to use with Sidekicks though. There are some variables to consider with that, and I hardly ever use Falcons or the Owl, but I think RT-52 does make sense there…but not with the Fuze.
Generally I’m right up in the enemy’s grill with the passive melee, if I’m using drones. That’s exactly my complaint about both higher power-scores and using the Fuze drones. Using them and going up that high means I have to sneak around, rather than make any direct contact with the enemy…and in that case, Falcon’s radar buff helps me stay a safe distance from the awful bad guys at 9K that I have no intention of going near…but my Fuses sure will, and I’m not following them.
Anyway, I’ll try to get it looking more amusing. The queues were good though.
I just thought… looking at what others do, they seem they don’t know or don’t care.
I don’t know.
They drop whatever and go away instead of sticking around to maximise their drones…
Harpy is a tough cab to build around, it’s huge, and it’s light i just use other cabs
I only play with 4 drones. ( 6 was ok, but was only a dream that doesn’t lasted long )
But today i stopped playing, you complain about waiting times in the queue i wish i had that problem, i really don’t mind waiting for 2 or 3 minutes.
What bothers me is the lag, the rubber banding, it’s unbearable even watching others playing it’s garbage.
You think you are in a place but no, you are in a completely different place .
It’s like watching a movie missing a lot of frames
Well, there it is…ish. I still want to do some polishing, paint, and decor, but this will work for me. It’s about 8.5K and that’s keeping the queues brief. It didn’t end up looking like a Fuze drone, but I like it anyway, and it works.
Now I can put this thread’s bitch to bed…I hope.
why is that…?
doesn’t his ability for increased damage work on drones? if you have to “circle around of enemies for some drones to work properly”, doesn’t falcon’s dam boost work, or maybe the drones “might start shootin Explodable Modules which are highlighted by his ability”…?
I think the only perk Falcon offers that works on drones is the increased radar, and only the fuse benefits very much from that. Other drones should probably stay pretty close to your vehicle, making more-big-radar sort of pointless, while the further you can get away from your Fuzes and it’s targets, the better. They’ll go half way across the map to find targets with the right set-up.
Otherwise RT-52 is probably better for most drones, since all of it’s perks benefit drones, not just one. It just lacks the enhanced radar that gives the Fuze improved range.
It’s probably mostly a matter of taste and play-style, or the equipment you’re using, because the activation time boost RT-52 offers actually does help with the Fuze quite a bit.
To be honest, I’m not very attached to my opinion, and think the argument for using RT-52 with Fuzes is strong. The MVP I got up there was with RT-52, so…IDK.
I’m not really the guy to sort out all the perks. I don’t like them, and feel like they over complicate things and add very little entertainment value to the game. I would like to have nothing to do with them. Not a fan of the new co-drivers either.
I unlocked Falcon to see if it was better than Billie with my PVE build ( Caucasus ), in the end
his abilities made no difference
Caucasus shoots at the cabin, if you want to make them drill into the other build you have to chose an angle where they must shoot through something to reach the cabin.
Yeah, you see the Falcon’s perk kick in at a certain point, you see the other build’s modules but with no effect, cause Caucasus still shooting at the cabin, not at the highlighted modules.
And yes, you can still hit said modules with either of the co-drivers, being with sidekicks, Caucasus or even Hawks but that has more to do with the crazy positions the other build is caught than everything else.
E.G, In a direct confrontation i get more damage with Billie than with Falcon in a raid ( even with all the limitations considered ).
There you go, a simple metric, easy to follow that convince me how good Billie was. at, least with my builds.
the way some co-drivers work, how convoluted their perks are to trigger, reflects how devs want us to play certain builds.
E.g. the drone’s co-driver, you must be within 35 meters from your drones to be able to take advantage of his perk, they want the build to be in the soup vs the poop and scoot tactics, so you better have a sturdy build.
Yuki’s perk is hard for me, if i’m not mistaken, you have to be in the rear of the other build and within 35 meters, it’s hard to do it, to keep track of in the middle of chaos.
that’s another reason i like so much certain co-drivers, the ones with a pretty strait forward and linear way to trigger the perks
