Hey, I never said that wasn’t happening, I just couldn’t reproduce the glitch at first. Eventually I found some builds doing it on some maps, and posted about it.
So nothing on caucacuses ? Durability buff ? Turn speed buff? All other hit scans got something ? Damage buff ? Theybare literally the worst hitscan purple lol. I love them for raids, fun to drive around in pvp too. Dont even attempt to flame with no skill etc. Homing missles. Drones. Scorpions. Retcher dogs etc tons of no skill weapons. Its just fun to play
I’ll have to see how it works out, but losing traction on inclines was terrible. I hope this is what they’re talking about fixing… and yeah… drifting begin deleted kinda sucks.
This is both maddening to me and something I love. It’s going to force me to play a certain way when it drops… meaning I’m going to be forced to rebuild almost everything before I do anything else.
Then again, every build in my BP storage is quite stale.
A little motivation to freshen things up is nice.
I’m not completely sold on the idea that this is a nerf for hovers. We’ll see.
I only say that because they’ve “nerfed” them in the past to only see them actually get stronger.
I hope the repeated minor nerfs to hovers is the dev’s way of carefully weakening the whales’ favorite parts without pissing them off all at once. God knows the whales & try-hards are the most sensitive & easily angered people in the game. If I were a dev of the game, I’d be careful, too. I’m hoping they never intended for hovers to get as OP as they currently are, and this is another attempt to reel that mistake back in.
The durability changes are all up. They are addressing power creep with these changes. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another round of small durability buffs next patch.
My guess is the survey 6 months ago that asked if we thought we blew up to quick or to slow or just right was answered by the majority of players as “I feel I get destroyed to fast”.
Whales don’t care, they already have all the parts and just switch to the next FOTM.
I am not sure why hovers are associated with whales.
I took a new f2p account to 4 hovers, epic cabin and epic weapons, (mini-guns) in a month of playing.
Does that mean that account will count as being a “whale” account because of hovers?
Where exactly is the line between joe player and a hover “whale”?
In fact, there are more players who hate hover overpowered
Hovers are one thing.
Whales are another.
Hover whales would be a subgroup of them…
Seems I implied something I didn’t mean to imply.
I meant to say the devs are probably careful not to piss off the whales too much. So, forced changes to their playstyle would best be done slowly. Currently, it looks like most whales (that being based purely on my assumptions) are playing hovers.
So, nerfing hovers would piss off whales.
Obviously not all hover players are whales since hovers are kinda cheap in relation to what whales are actually spending money on… Relics.
Heck, I have 8 hovers. I never use em, but whatever…
I think that some guys in this forum consider anyone with a ball of lint and $20 in their pocket a whale.
They sure start complaining like $10 is the end of the world.
I’m going to guess many people start playing a free game because they don’t have money to play games. Then when they realize that free to play games are the more expensive then pay games they get upset.
I hace to agree with monkey here. And people have a horrible concept on p2w gere as well.
I worked 21 days in a row one time, picking up 3 Saturdays and Sundays by choice. Then i bought 3 Punishers. Instead i could have worked my normal 15 days in those 3 weeks, played crossout for 60 hours during those 3 weekends and ended up with a single Legendary if i was grinding nonstop. Instead i took my ass to work and earned my relics through physical labor.
Am I a whale?
ya…but it doesn’t mean your good…
but really,a whale is anyone that pays to have an advantage in weps no one can get without paying rlm…that’s all.
That reminds me of this quote:
Then by that definition we do not have any whales in Crossout.
Because everything is obtainable “without” real life money.
Their are games that have store items that can only be bought with cash and no way to trade them in game.
Crossout is not one of those games.
well…you have to be good to be lucky
Relics? say what?
Lol yeah, it’s an odd quote. I was talking to my daughter about it the other day so it was stuck in my head.
just havin fun with you
I know like a hundred of guys or more that got relics without buy them. Me included.
i know a hundred guys that bought them…are we even?
Yeah I know. Lol
I saw you poking a little fun at Dhawk, but I know your sense of humor and I was like “oh boy, he might read that a rant for 3 pages”
Luv ya Dhawk! No homo…
I’m sure you know a ton of guys that have bought them.
I know a ton of guys that bought them.
But I also know just as many that earned them.
I know I have mentioned it a few times, and a few other guys over the years have mentioned it on the forums that they can do the same.
But on Xbox, I currently make enough coins on the market to buy a relic ever 5-6 weeks. It used to be ever 4 weeks but Xbox relics have went out the roof.
Instead of buying relics I have been fusing legendary items lately.
