I ran 3 top ten clans over 3 years, and never once did someones profile help us win a match. We wouldnāt even think of looking. You just go in a match and server a beat down.
It is an option to hide your main profile, I donāt care if people use it, but they have nothing to gain. They put on their foil hat and think people even care.
People think they are more important then they really they are.

I have a caveat to that, even though I generally agree with it.
A certain former forum member took to data-mining when I crossed that particular forum memberās naughty list.
Had that idiot been only a slight bit more aggressive in that data mining, thereās a chance theyād have figured out the usernames of my kids who play this game. So, I hid my profile and theirsā¦ The main reason being that I think the āfriendsā list is visible on there. I dunnoā¦ I donāt care enough to learn the ins and outs of whatās in my profile.
What I do NOT need is some lunatic stalking my family online or otherwise.
I donāt know what I have to gain in it being public, so I donāt know what I have to lose in it being private.
And I mean that literally. I literally donāt know & honestly donāt really care. Other than what RoughMonkey said, I donāt know why anyone would want or need any info on my account.

mostly bullies hide their profile and players that get bullied hide theirs tooā¦so whatās the pointā¦

Least of all the people who knew āherā. There was no -actual- young girl behind that account, but the fact that you have to derail every single conversation for that misinformation isā¦ mind-numbingly hilarious.
Redās pretty much been the same ever since I first met her in game. Didnāt know this was going onā¦
Sassy was someone who came into the game and then gifted mostly people who hated on her, got deep into friendship with howlin and was getting packs from him herself and getting him to gift bunches of other people, abusing an old man who at the time was having meds issues IRL. Then too, at the time, if someone charged back a gifted pack it froze both accounts until it was repaid. All I did was point that out -to the devs- after I accepted a gift, it was charged back, and I had to find a way to reverse that. Oh and gave a warning to the people willy nilly accepting gifts from Sassy even as they insulted Sassy.
Oh and the name change bit, that oneās the funniest because all I did was point out publicly available information to people who were trying to find her. The forums. Where your name changes, but your posts remain. Omega, since then, has had a weirdo axe to grind and some false fantasy story about what really happened.
He can say what he wants though, free forum and all that. Itās just been something heās been following me about for a year or a bit more now. Fact is, a lot of us thought Sassy was a friend - me included. Right up until things got weird, including a huge blowout fight in gen chan with howlin and her and others among a dozen things Omega missed. It was a messy time overall. Gen chan and etc. is far calmer with certain elements gone.

Sounds like a bunch of drama to me.
I would advise anyone to stay as far away from any person in real life or a video game that would be part of drama like that. And to openly talk about other peoples businessā¦ I donāt know about the rest of you, but people like that would be missing some teeth where I come from.
Certain types of people bring drama upon themselves, they feed on it, it sticks to them like flys to 
And surprisingly enough they canāt see it.

Yep, was a bunch of bluster and storm and nonsense. Like most of the interactions in the game were there for a while.
Been pretty calm (knock on wood) for the last 6-8 months though, so hereās hoping it remains so.
