as a new player, I’m fine. I’m a bit frustrated with how promo codes are streamlined on PC but nowhere else, but it’s whatever. I’ll get over it. I remember booting this game up when it first came out. it was bare bones and not a lot of fun. PVE events make it nice and it has a campaign/story mode to make grinding at least tolerable. It seems every developer as of recent is nerfing everything. It’s hard to get mad at cross when all other games are doing it too. I feel bad for those high end players, the ones that spent a lot of money and the ones who are high level. It’s gotta suck for you guys, but hey, that leaves more room for the new guys (shrug).

After my long well needed break from XO. And reluctantly returning back to XO “Post update” the recent update. SNAFU… I am still going to play solely for the destruction blowing crap up but it ends after that point. Being a serious devoted player investing endless amounts of time & or cash just isn’t idealistic.
I didn’t ask for a speed update. Instead, I’d like the glitches to stop. I get tired of only hearing one hurricane rocket launch. Or right when I hit the trigger on the crossbow, I freeze without firing and then launch through a wormhole, two seconds past the vehicle, not knowing WTF happened.

Funny most of the people on forums are art builders and total garbage in game. Problem has always been devs catering to noobs instead of balancing from the top down. Game isnt dead thousands playing game…they just need to fix the disconnect issues in clan wars…and get these aol dial-up players off there servers.

Crossout in 2025 seems be in a state of disrepair the last banwave that did something was in 2022 currently the situation has become so toxic people are leaving faster and faster. I wonder what was the point of the current battle pass and this wade fella (more toxic taunts…) great idea…when the steam database is at its lowest it can take up to 5 a 6 min to find a match or worse 10 mins and if you region lock good luck gone take a while. — few days ago somebody complained he only did 11 games in 1 hour CC mode due of low population — Also to many mode’s and restrictions. — Ather thing raid speedrunning was a thing people enjoyed geusse what devs killed it — So now we got guys actively ignoring serten raids ingame and playing only invasion — And there many more examples we can think about as community. — also isanely OP battle pass weaponry that kills you in a few seconds — i dont mind new stuf but it has become madness — owh yeah META META META and people with absurd god-like aim abilitys but horrible movement / strategy / teamwork behaviours… — Atleast we got a new TOS for crossout —
i hated it. speedrunning raids made raids unplayable imo and i absolutely hated people who did that crap. it not only costed us resources but also points. at times we were overwhelmed by enemies and got killed multiple times cause some idiot in a hurry couldnt wait for us to kill all the enemies. these people would just rush the objective and either get the objective destroyed costing us the raid and the fuel or we would have to many enemies to deal with costing us alot of damage to our cars and even making us respawn. THIS is the exact reason i suggested allowing us to solo raids or allowing us to bring in ai help to help us through the raids rather then play with others. this way “speedrunners” can play by themselves and ruin their own fun while us who like to take our time can enjoy taking our time.
the reason raids are bad now is cause people love to get in the way of your shots, point hog, shove you around, rush costing you points and resources and more. heck raids arent 2 randoms anymore, they are both the same and idk why they made that awful change.
bump this because too many new weps n movement parts.

Metas come and go, and I believe that a lot of the big trends are mostly just a result of large numbers of people unlocking a new BP item at the same time.
Triton is strong, and will likely be nerfed (I suggest making them overheat quicker), but it’s also the only legendary BP weapon that you get enough of to make something useable (if combined with some gremlins/goblins).
I predict that when enough people can unlock a second fused Charon it will temporarily become a big menace on the wasteland.
But getting back to the question of “is more items better?”, I definitely see a lot more build diversity now than ever before. To me, that is a good thing.

I had a similiar problem today when i was trying to upload a pic from another site into the forum. It didn’t like a series of numbers in the picture’s name. Very odd.

now everyone has some version of the scorpion, brand new strong shotguns, and damage boosting modules
many crossout metas are also caused by a weapon being released too strong, and on top of that everyone plays it at the same time
depending on what PS you play, there are plenty of copy paste builds with new overpowered weapons and parts and in CW everyone has identical builds
