Needs a dura nerf, huge mass reduction, and it should turn slower when charged. Otherwise its one of the only worthwhile ranged alpha strike weapons because the rest are dogwater.

It’s not OP, this is how cannons SHOULD hit in this game. HAVE YOU THOUGHT FOR JUST A SECOND ABOUT THE CALIBER THESE THINGS ARE FIRING???
The tsunami is easily a 150mm cannon and it hits like a 20mm shell.
Even then, you are complaining about its price, not it’s hitting power.

Its the only cannon being used because its the only one that is usable against meta builds rofl. The logic these people are railing against the Raijin for is the same logic that got the Narwhal and Astraeus nerfed.

I’m with you on that: cannons should be scary again.
I haven’t obtained one yet, but seeing lots in matches. They’re definitely strong, but a lot of their current popularity is also just because they’re new, so every cannon player wants to try them.
I’d rather they buff other cannons if they’re under-performing compared to this thing, than nerf it. I’m quite enjoying the challenge of playing against them, and they seem to work on a wide variety of builds, which is always a good thing in my books.
Yeah cannons used to be quite good back in the day, and then they were nerfed and now a single shot shotgun blows off more parts off of a build than an avalance mini nuke

Indeed, i used to be a cannon player long ago before targem decided to add piercers.
Now they are just useless and cant keep up with machinegun DPS.
i think nothing should be op instead of cannons being made op to match other weapons

Nothing in this game works like it should because the devs are to busy trying to pacify every body else’s preferred play style and/or lack of inventory.

Courtesy of devs refusing to address hover players playing the game like its a third person shooter from 2017 all the way to 2022.
OP hovers is why we couldn’t have nice ranged weapons all these years.
