I would argue that getting more people into CW (even if just a limited PS lower league), will result in more people buying packs, not less.
Get people enjoying CW, and they’ll eventually end up in the big leagues, and at that point they’ll be more tempted to dig out the wallet.

I think you are right - at least if anyone thinks remotely the way I do. One of the reasons I have not bought the radiance pack and hesitated on Polar lights is that I saw limited use from what is offered. It’s just offering me variety, and in no way do I think anything from either pack would make me more competitive than I already am - or at least any more than I currently care to be.

Now, if I was into actual serious competitive play, I would want every advantage I could get and the fear of missing out would be much more severe.

Case in point, I would want those fused legendary machine guns… a whole set. As is, I have no interest.

Agreed - I played top 10 CWs for 3 years straight and now I have not played clan wars in about a year. (I’m currently in a clan as a general - but I don’t play with them - I keep tags to stop people from constantly inviting me)

With that said I have enjoyed the last year more then the 3 years of top 10 CWs.

I play what I want, build what I want, and enjoy the game how I want. I’m not worried if I’m playing the best of the best of the best meta build at all times, I just play what I want.

I have had times over the last year that I’ll take builds into PvP and just get stomped because I’m not playing meta, but I’m having fun so I don’t care if anyone else cares.

When I was a CW player I felt like I had to preform at my best anytime someone saw me in game. Now it don’t mater.

A funny thing about this - Now that I’m enjoying myself more it pisses people off. You get these dudes that are all about KD and winning every match and they get bent when I don’t care if they win or not. They feel like I should play in a way that makes them happy - sucks to be them I guess.

I am a clan of One. I got spammed invites when I didn’t have a clan tag.

Now I am told that its because of clans like mine that non clanned people can’t win.

I would do an Arena if it was 2v2. I would actually be more intense on this game mode than any other incl CW’s.

I loved 2v2’s in that other game I played a long time. Didn’t like 3v3 and 5v5 though.

This stressed me more than actually playing CW’s now that I see it in writing. Especially if it was a random game with a “junior” clan member randomly in the game on my side. (dont guess it bothered me to kill them on the opposite team though :laughing:)

I enjoy the game for me. Not others. My current goal isn’t winning though that is nice. I am unlocking banners.

I thought this was the case for my PO0p clan… just realized there are others in my clan. I don’t know where they came from. :rofl: The kids play on my account, so maybe they got them in there.

I started trying to do this again too. It gets me to play a bunch of stuff I wouldn’t. Very fun.
