Rework(s) Suggestion(s) 😁

In our clan, we’re lucky if 5 or 6 players a week do anything at all, titles or not! :roll_eyes:

What I’d like to see is upper-level clan members collect a salary (preferably in coins, but badges acceptable) paid by the clan leader. (I hope my clan leader reads this! :grinning:)

I’d have to file wasteland bankruptcy… :sob:

They could just automate some of the rules so you set a min cc rating or similar and it could do it for you. Same with all the other raid challenges.

I can’t play a single game of cc now. My Xbox is apparently too old lol. I can’t be alone. A few people in my clan have the same issues.
I’m ljcky I haven’t been kicked from the clan.
But its bs because theres nothing I can do .
I do other stuff for the clan tho.
Im just sick i can’t contribute anymore.

Making meat grinders non-camera steering
Absolutely killed the part when you can’t really grind with them anymore

Now with torpedos, why can’t meat grinders move like that? RE tank controls, and when you hold the break button instead of rotating the build you’d strafe. Honestly this would feel way better for them than camera steering. Less slippery torpedo movement with slower speed and option to actually make use of the grinding part of these

you mean like old school hovers?
don’t have grinders so i wouldn’t know…though the devs should have left that as an option (cam steer) you can switch on/off

This is actually a setting you can change on PC. IDK about consoles tho.

part 2 - SMALL CHANGES WITH BIG IMPACTS & the “ANTI-SEALCLUBBER PROTOCOL”

1st - remove the screen/button for mode selection
2nd - add 2 buttons in the same place where the mode button was in the garage. One Button for PVP, and One Button for PVE
3rd - each of these 2 buttons creates two drop-down menues side by side (as shown in my VERY poorly drawn sketch at the end of this post :rofl:)…a MODE/RULES selection menu, and a LFM/LFP menu
4th - adjust provided match parameters and/or use LFM/LFP to find party members
5th - click “start match”… :crazy_face: :rofl:

THE MATCH RULES MENU
the next rules listed are something that i believe would solve many issues that XO is facing (…insert…“thank you Cpt. Obvious” meme :smiling_imp:)
I also think that said rules would be easy to implement and would benefit the game a lot…here goes:

  • GAME TIER - the player can select which “tier of competition” they want to play from 1 to 4. each tier affects not just the “level of opponent”, but also the “the tier of resources” that the player can farm, so to speak, as follows:

Tier 1 Games - ONLY SPECIAL OR LOWER tier equipment can be used. this does NOT affect Accessories, Paints, Stickers…etc.
Tier 2 Games - EPIC OR LOWER tier equipment can be used. …etc.
Tier 3 Games - LEGENDARY OR LOWER tier equipment can be used. …etc.
Tier 4 Games - RELIC OR LOWER tier equipment can be used…A.K.A. “ANYTHING GOES TIER”

NOTE that a player IS ALLOWED to participate in “HIGH TIER” games with “LOW TIER” equipment, BUT NOT VICE VERSA…so a player can play a tier 4 game with only Epic equipment, but a player with Legendary equipment COULD NOT play any game LOWER than TIER 3 ( :fu: Sparvester :fu: :rofl:)

ALSO, PS should still be used to “Streamline the match”, but it could have an “Easier Proces” doing it…

  • RESOURCE - the player selects Any One resource they want to grind. “higher tier resources” require “higher tier games”, as follows:
    Tier 1 Games - SCRAP or COPPER
    Tier 2 Games - WIRE, PLASTIC, SCRAP or COPPER…scrap & copper get a small quantity boost
    Tier 3 Games - BATTERIES, ELECTRONICS, WIRE, PLASTIC, SCRAP, or COPPER…wire & plastic get a small quantity boost, scrap & copper get a medium quantity boost
    Tier 4 Games - URANIUM, BATTERIES, ELECTRONICS, WIRE, PLASTIC, SCRAP, or COPPER…batteries & electronics get a small quantity boost, wire & plastic get a medium quantity boost, scrap & copper get a high quantity boost
    Uranium could also be tied to specific types of matches, such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch or like “Ungrindable in Raids” or something…etc.

  • GAME MODE - here the player can select what type(s) of game(s) they want to play, such as:
    DEATHMATCH - simple 10 vs 10 or a 16 players Royal Rumble style game
    TEAM DEATHMATCH - a four 5-man-team game mode. 4 teams Slugfest
    BASES GAMES - the standard games so far…nothing wrong with that :grin:
    ALL APPLICABLE - self explanatory… :grin:
    …etc. which is to say that Any Future Game Mode can be simply added as just “1 more option”
    Note Also, that in some cases, PVP & PVE may have their own unique modes (such a PVE having RAIDS)

  • WAR FRONT SELECTION (name is still W.I.P. :rofl:) - what this means in simple terms, is a list of icons, each representing a type of vehicle, plus one for leviathans. players can basicaly select which vehicles they want/don’t want to play against…mech&helis, only cars, …etc. you get the picture…

  • SPECIAL EVENTS & PVP/PVE SPECIFIC - this menu is literally for either the selection of Special Events, or BRAWLS (PVP) / PATROL (PVE). i felt that those deserved their own mode selection…

THE LFM/LFP MENU
this menu is solely used to find party members in their respective categories (PVP and PVE).

ALLOW EVERY ITEM TO BE CRAFTED
THE DUMBEST thing that a game that is “essentially F2P” can do is PAYWALL CRAFTING…the reasons for that are plentifold, but i’ll just use the “money protocol” here…and ask a simple question:

  • “How Much RL Cash would be spent if Item Availability on market was higher and/or more diverse, or if FUSED ITEMS Could be sold on the market…?”

MAKE FUSING COST RESOURCES, NOT MULTIPLE ITEMS…self explanatory…also make STABILYSERS craftable!..more market traffic …etc.

Well, I say this could work…thoughts…?

part 3 - FACTIONS REWORK/REBALANCE & “The NEW KIDS in the Wastes”

  • Factions get ReCategorised as follows:

  • WASTELAND Factions - These are the “original factions”, with some additions and changes (most notably in the ENGINEER faction). The following Factions are considered WASTELANDERS: ENGINEERS (+“Attachments”…FOUNDERS; M.E.R.C.s; RIGGERs); The RAVENS (HELI Faction); LUNATICS; FIREDTARTERS; NOMADS; DAWNCHILDREN; SCAVENGERS; and STEPPENWOLVES.

  • ANTAGONIST Factions - These factions seek to Control/Rule/Destroy the Wasteland Factions for their own benefit, and as such are in direct confrontation with “The Waste Landers”, as they call them. The following Factions are considered ANTAGONISTS: The SYNDICATE; The KHAGANATE (The RAVENS’ evil brother(s)); and HYBERBOREA

  • NEUTRAL Factions - These factions are called NEUTRAL Factions, not because of them actualy being neutral, but because their “Behaviour/Agenda” is fundamentaly incompatible with the other two factions (reasons are…). The following Factions are considered NEUTRAL: RAVAGERS; MONSTERS’ BALL, and The KNIGHTHOOD of STEEL (reworked Brootherhood)

WASTELAND Factions Rework(s)
The most notable change(s), aside from the introduction of a “Heli Faction”, is how 4 different factions have merged into a “semi-governing body” after all that had/has recently happend in the wastes.

  • The RANGERS (wanted to call them “A-Team”, but… :grin: :rofl:): they are basically The ENGINEERS, and The FOUNDERS, plus two factions that serve as Support Factions for “The Wastelanders”.
    From Level 15 on, every level with ENGINEERS, the Player Automaticaly gets 1 level up with The FOUNDERS. At level 30 with ENGINEERS, the Player has reached level 15 with FOUNDERS
    EVERY EVEN LEVEL (2,4,6…etc.) with ENGINEERS, the Player Automaticaly get 1 level up with both M.E.R.C.s and RIGGERs. At level 30 with ENGINEERS, the Player has reached level 15 with both M.E.R.C.s and RIGGERs.

M.E.R.C. - As explained in a previous post, they are a Faction led by The RAT QUEEN that rents CoDrivers for INTELLIGENCE.

RIGGER - Led by The RAT KING, it is a Faction that rents Mechanics for INTELLIGENCE. A Mechanic is, in essence, the same thing as a CoDriver, only it works “For the Garage”. Meaning that it applies (all) Modifiers (even the “bad ones”) to “all vehicles” (levi included).

The RAVENS - …the heli faction of “the good guyz”… :grin:

-addenum- Food for Thought - Since only ENGI and LUNATICs have FRAMES (Heavy > ENGI ; Light > LUNATIC), it kind of leaves one with little choice about which Faction to start with. So in an effort to ballance that out why not create:

  • MEDIUM FRAMES - Durability and Weight are between Heavy, and Light Frames. …available from Nomads
  • SUPER HEAVY FRAMES - Durability and Weight are 50% Higher than Heavy Frames. …available from Scavengers

ANTAGONIST Factions Rework(s)
The most notable difference is the redefinition of what ANTAGONIST Factions essentialy are. Antagonist factions seek to, in essence, Rule the Wasteland (either by destroying the wastelanders, or by subjugating them (Hyperborea)). Experience for Leveling These Factions is Obtained in:
RAIDS against these factions, or SPECIAL MODES such as in ADVENTURE MODE

  • The SYNDICATE > …not much to say, as all is known… Though they could be Added to ADVENTURE Mode as EXTRA FOES…just saying
  • The KHAGANATE > …not much to say atm…treat as “Ravens’ Evil Twin or something”… Though they could be Added to ADVENTURE Mode as EXTRA FOES…just saying
  • HYPERBOREA > …the Mentor’s repeated attempts to control the Wastes left a Deep Rift between Hyperborea and the Wastelanders that has turned into open war among them…Though they could be Added to ADVENTURE Mode as EXTRA FOES…just saying

NEUTRAL Factions Rework(s)
These Factions represent factions that, against all arguments, and for various reasons, can not be grouped with either Wastelanders or Antagonists

  • MONSTERS’ BALL > A new Faction that creeped out of “The DARKLANDS”, a stretch of land mostly covered in thick clouds that give the land a look of being “perpetually gloomy and wrapped in twilight”. They have been observed Actively Fighting Anyone, including occasionaly, among themselves. So far All Encounters have ended in Conflict, so a “Shoot on Sight” Rule has been enacted among All Wastelanders. Among Observed Weapons the following 3 have caused enough damage to earn “Nicknames”:
    BANSHEE → a type of Sonic Flamer. it does Physical Damage in a Flamer-like pattern. (perk could include something like: “Every Part Affected by The Banshee recieves a cumulative 1 Damage for Every 2 Seconds of Sustained Damage fron The Banshee”)
    SWAMP THING → a type of Plant Incinerator. it Hurls Plant Mass in an arc, like The Incinerator does, but instead of a flaming puddle, The Swamp Thing lobs a Solid Projectile that damages a vehicle if it hits. Depending on wether it hits a vehicle, or just terrain, the weapon’s mechanics act differently. If Terrain is hit, then it acts as a puddle (dealing physical damage, and slowing Any vehicle passing through). If Any Player/Vehicle is hit, then after dealing damage, the projectile becomes a literal “Ball of Tentacles made of Plants” that “travel with the affected player and damage Every Vehicle in a Ball shaped Radius”
    VAMPYRE → a type of Cabin, that has a kind of Draining Skinner weapon mounted on it. It acts in all ways as a Skinner, but if it hits a Cab (any cab, even friendly ones!) it deals damage to it and at the same time, heals itself (meaning the cabin itself).
  • The RAVAGERS > …not much to say, as all is known… Though they could be Added to ADVENTURE Mode as EXTRA FOES…just saying
  • KNIGHTHOOD of STEEL > …a monthy python version of “the brootherhood” (“…after having seen the destruction wrought by ARES and…martin & co. went mad, and…etc.”). Obsessed with Knights/Knighthood, they became an unpredictable and chaotic buch, so everyone “just steers clear of them these days…” :grin:. Following are a few items for “the knights”:
    WARHORSE → …mech leg. after traveling a set distance, the leg(s) build a charge (that is, the spring-loading mechanism is properly wound up… :rofl:). use to perform a short range forward jump. Only forward jumps are available.
    PUNCH LANCE → …Lance-a-lot with a twist. Instead of the explosion damaging the enemy, a spring loaded giant fist shoots out after collision (it’s still a lance-a-lot :grin:), creating extreme impulse…like some crossbows.
    REAPER BALISTA → …looks like WH dark elves Reaper Bolt Thrower. fires bolts in rapid succession, two by two, not all at once. could have a perk that lets you fire all bolts when charging the shot, or something…
