Servers have been frigged lately

Almost every game I’m either bumping into walls, can’t move or just moving backwards. It has been gradually getting worst and worst over the past month or soo. Crossout always had bad servers but this is the absolute worst I have ever seen it.

I just relog in when I run into those issues. I had a lot of that type of problem last week.

That use to fix it when ever it happened but that is not fixing the problem no more. I even booted up call of duty black ops cold war for an hour to see if it’s my internet but the worst ping I had was 135 in cod. It gets really bad in raids especially I even lost too my own levi because of it lol.

I’ll probably be on tomorrow I have some contractors to deal with today. Adulting sucks.

I’ve had connection problems for the past few months; I would suddenly lose my connection, but ONLY when playing crossout. Someone gave me these instructions, and they seem to have significantly reduced the problem.

1. Do a standard disk cleanup on the drive your game is on.

2. Do a disk cleanup again, but this time select “clean up system files”.

Open a command prompt as an administrator, and execute these lines in this order:
3A. “ipconfig /flushdns”
3B. “ipconfig /renew”

After I did this, the game played faster and I had very few disconnects.

I haven’t had many disconnects, but occasionally my chat resets seemingly out of nowhere, which is really annoying when I’m talking to my friends and have to wait and ask them, “sorry, my chat reset again, what did you say?” Even worse: I can’t do anything while my chat gets reset, because it gives me a stupid little error window says “connection to the server has been lost, trying to reconnect”. It only happens with XO. Sometimes it event kicks me out of battle to do it.

I literally just logged on for less than 1 minute and it did it to me.

I hate when I get that message.

I might try that out, the games weren’t that bad just now but if it keeps up I am gonna have to brush the dust bunnies off my thinking cap and do what you said, if that fails I’m gonna have to dig for even more solutions.

I also go to %appdata% then bring up the Crossout file . I open the crossout file and clean out the logs in its files. along with the following previously posted:

Maybe Gaijin is cutting server costs. Why did the fixed-cannon bots become so dumb? Maybe they’re using simpler sripts now, to save money? Would that save enough money to matter?

pretty sure the problem is on their servers never been like this before

I have experienced some horribly long que times. Some going on for 3+ minutes then get dropped into a battle already half way completed. Something
seems awry.

I deleted 160 gb or so of games on my c drive and performance improved somewhat

Remember to perform a defrag on the drive (unless you’re using those ssd drives).

I don’t need to do that it is a 1tb gen 4 nvme ssd, ssd is only 3 years old. I also got a older 120 gb 2.5 inch ssd, I am thinking about migrating my os to that drive and just keep that one dedicated to the os only.
