The rear is taken care of, tried and tested. There is frames in the back that seems to stop tusks as well. Not as effective as the front but a nice little stop gap just in case. I got hit in the back by the tusk plenty of times but that don’t happened too often anyways with good situational awareness even if it were weak in the back. I say 19 out of 20 times even less I’m getting hit in the front so nothing to worry about.

I had some ancient work-pieces for Tempuras, and they seemed like a bargain to produce with those work-pieces, so I gave’m a whirl.

It’s hard AF to win with this rig (Nest/Tempura), but it’s fun when it works.

That’s an interesting approach to tempuras. I’ve only ever combined them with melee.
By the way, if you have a blight, it buffs them like flamethrowers.
They are very hard to use, but very satisfying when you connect.

I bet they could work with lances, but I haven’t tried.

Nice looking ride.

I borrowed the front-end from one of your builds (thanks).

Until I put those on there, I was getting pwnd pretty bad. It was too hard to make proper contact with the Tempuras. I’d hit my target even a little cockeyed, slip off, and end up with some dude’s monster at my car-door, dragging me sideways across the wasteland until I popped.

The teeth help make a good catch better. They help straighten out my angle of attack a little, once I make contact. It made a big difference, so thanks again for that.

In the beginning of the match, I’m mostly a support guy with the nests, then once they’re softened up a little, I can move in and put the Tempuras to work. That’s been the routine when it works…Truth is IDK WTF I’m doing with Tempuras (or Nests), and I threw this together just because it’s a bunch of parts I don’t normally use, I needed a change of pace (I actually crafted schit too!), and I’d really like the Dusk to be cooler than it is, so I tried.

It was fun, different, I like looking at it, and so I’ll probably keep it around for a little while.

I’ve got two more work-pieces for Tempuras…sell’em? Fuse’m? Stack’em? IDK.

I also had 4 work-pieces for Pyralids (from way back), and I crafted two. They aren’t really my thing, but I saw them showcased on the announcement for the copter update, and so I thought maybe I should get on those in preparation.

Crafting them was hella-cheap with the work-pieces, as with the Tempuras. Most of those work-pieces I’ve got still take considerable resourses to craft, but those two didn’t.

I even crafted a Humpback the other day…I’m just all crafty, lately (fat with unused resources).

I like the Frankenstein CK, and felt like I had to put it to use, and this build is great for tearing up challenges in copper patrols…otherwise, I wouldn’t know what to do with it, but it works great for that.

I like pyralids actually. They hit pretty hard on a harpy build.

How do you like dusk with nests? I’ve been considering picking up a dusk.

I think the Dusk is terrible. Its “perk” essentially nerfs missiles and rockets. Missiles and rockets work better on the Harpy, IMO…but I like the Dusk’s Death Race 2000 aesthetics, so I make it work…sometimes.

The Call is another cab I think sucks at what it’s supposed to do well (drones), but I work it, because I like the looks and sound FXs.

I updated my Gerrida build with some Battle Pass Synthesis pew-pew and that’s doing better now (even got MVP a couple times), but I can get five kills with this and still loose as a random loner in PVP…I know because that’s happened. Some days are just hopeless.

Most everything on it’s fused. I guess that’s what it takes…I need to fuse more of my crap, but I hate messing with that feature. It’s more aggravation than fun, but it pays off (for the developers) once it’s done, I reckon…unless it’s the Call or the Dusk. Those cabs need reworked, IMO. No fusion helps what ails them things.

Call is the drone one?

Yes.

The “Heat Sink.”

I finally realized it’s potential. I used to use Bladewings for this exploit, but the Heat Sink seems made for it.

It’s even more useful on this Nest build (usually I used it with shotguns), because of how hard it can be to get a lock on targets with the Nest. This exploit allows me to essentially stall in place (spinning doughnuts), keeping line-of-sight with targets to take the shot, and then still be able to haul ass without loosing acceleration to make the getaway…there is no cloak.

It really pours on the drift though. Especially at high speeds, and it can seem too squirrely with any lag at all.

No easy wins with this build. Plenty of action, though.

Does it make you flip on edges of surfaces? I hate to leave anything dragging because of those unpredictable jumps.

Not so far. I’ve been using it on my Drone-boat (the Call), and I’m having more luck with that build than the Dusk. It really changes directions fast for a wheeled build, making full use of its passive melee, and being able to stay out of my drones way better helps too (it turns really fast).

The Dusk and the Call both kinda suck, frankly. PS 6-7K (where these builds sit) seems over-saturated with Booster-Boars and Melee bricks in PVP, so it all kinda sucks, but the Call seems to handle it better.

I’m ready for the copters. I hope that works out…soon.

This one works for an occasional MVP in PVP.

I’ve had this build for a while, but I never take it seriously. IDK why. It wins if I do.
It didn’t work as well when I had M-37s on it, but of course the shotguns work much better, because of the tight fit vs the hit-box. The M-37s have issues with fit on this tiny little car that the Maces don’t.

Fit is 90% of why I choose shotguns over everything else. So many of the other guns just suck to try and build with, and fit is my “perk” of choice.

I wish the developers would consider this more when they are developing new guns; that fit is as valuable an asset as some of the other crap they add to rarities for tier qualifiers, for not just guns, but modules too. For example: a 2 point generator that was smaller (without being more explosive) would be worth more to me than a big-ass, fragile, highly explosive, 3-point generator…but they went a different rout with this game.

Use Falcon with Corvos. They have an AMAZING ability to pop explosives as they deal burst hitscan damage. They slice through frames and pop anything thats not an expanded ammo pack or apollo in one volley, consistently

Yep, it’s already saved with falcon. The accuracy boost is nice too, and the extra power makes Griffon feel extra peppy.

Might be my new favourite gun.

I just realized that I didn’t double check if flywheel actually boosts the reload. I have a vague memory of some cabin reload boost not working on revolvers, does anyone know what I’m talking about?

It used to not recieve any buffs from reloading. It does now, flywheel, hadron, etc.

Hadron Corvo x2 and adapter is a nice combo for firing the corvos mostly nonstop

Just one match is all you need to set the world on fire.

Retribution Fire hologram, get yourself a kill and you can’t claim that you didn’t start the fire, lolol!

I could never get fixed angle cannons to work for me, but I got a third executioner in a crate and it turns out all I needed to do was use three of them:

I love my Thug. It hasn’t seen this much play time in years.

Totally done with the missile spam in PVP, though. I can’t apologize for thinking that schit drains all the fun out of this gig. It does. Otherwise, I was having fun. The constant alarm going off is annoying enough all by itself for me to opt out of that crap. I’ll take a hard pass on that.

I think once enough people unlock the anti-missile flares, we’ll see the end of guided missiles being the most popular helicopter weapons.
I’m thinking of turning off the beeping sound though.
