So Crossout changed the ingredients and costs of the Workpieces

Today I’m going to try to predict the future.

I predict… that to build the new items in the upcoming battlepass, players will need parts that are impossible to build. No workbench has that recipe!

Are the devs out of their minds?

But luckily, like magic, those “impossible items” start to appear on the market.

I predict that they will be absurdly expensive, but that’s not a problem because players have coins.

Hmm… but I also see some players who don’t have coins. But that’s not a problem either because they can buy coins on the market. And for that they only need real money! Problem solved.

But why do the devs do this?

I see…hmm… Oh my GOD! I see that the devs can also predict the future!

I see that they know exactly how many workpieces the players have in their hands and that when the need (opportunity) arises, these players will start producing these items.

And if these players don’t have enough resources, no problem, they can buy them on the market and for that they only need coins.

I predict that the price of these ingredients will increase. But who cares? The new battlepass items are so cool!

But fear not, if for any reason, some component is missing, I can see that the devs will make packs available on the market that will provide these items.

In short, I see a wonderful future for all players. Even those who have no idea what a workpiece is.

Big picture. The long-term problem.

Let’s wait for the next couple of weeks and see if I was right in my prediction.

Or… just buy the BP and get everything in it for 10 (US) bucks. Heck, you could get two of your favorite weapon from the BP with the special currencies (lighters, bearings).

The only problem coming from this is those who wish to craft and sell the BP parts.

Have you heard of market bots…?

If it were as simple as you’re trying to make it seem, why harm players who spent time and resources to produce the parts they needed only to later find out they were useless? Why increase the price of workpieces?

A single piece of an item won’t always be enough to finish a build.

And yes, you have the POSSIBILITY of getting more units of a certain item. But to do that you need a lot of time to play (which not everyone has) AND/OR spend more money.

Everything you said converges to one simple thing: Spend more money.

Again, I’m not against a company making money from their game. What I question is the method they use to achieve that.

But wait… I predict one more thing… with the changes they’re making you’re going to get the game you deserve.

Isn’t that great?

That’s the point of this game. War Thunder is the fun game, this is the money-making burner game.

Yes, I am aware that there are people who are content with little.

Everyone has the right to set their own expectations and goals in life. I respect that.

Sealclubbers and Trolls, for example. What they do worth nothing. They are losers. But it doesn’t matter. It makes them happy.

In the end, isn’t that what matters? Right?

i thought your name said ‘imgroot’

Are you calling me this?

No. I have no reason to think that about you.

I don’t know what you mean by that.

What I do know is that people say all kinds of things about me.

And sometimes they don’t say anything at all.

Well thank you.

I don’t think anything inherently bad about you, it’s just my opinion that you’re overreacting a bit to the workpiece change, and the way you worded it made it sound like they reverted it so why are you still angry…?

If an item has a buyer at a high enough price but there are none to buy, the Arbiter will sell the buyer one for an outrageous price.

Sorry, but I didn’t understand what you meant.

Also, I’m done here on the forum.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your thoughts.

yep other battlepass items, they been doing it for a while so why stop now?

i think we all know that answer.

yep, whales and whatnot will put them there for increased prices.

dude coins are expensive as hell. if people want to fork out that much cash buying in game coins thats their loss but ill save my money for games that deserve it.

not exactly. they limit how many can be made in each event, each battlepass. then they take out the blurprints for them and sprinkle them in inside mini battlepasses in small amounts to give players a hand full of them. for them if players buy it its free money for them. i think this was their intention all along. limit the battlepass blueprints, take them away when the pass ends, sell bits and pieces of the items in mini battlepasses.

This is not the first time they changed the workpieces.
Most of them required 2 purples when they were launched. Then it moved to 2 of each.

It’s quite apparent they think the workpieces were a mistake, that is why they stopped using them as rewards in BP’s and went to the timed recipes.

They still should not have changed a single one.
