Strafe change will ruin the game

Hovers need the stability nerfs etc, but the changing of strafe controls is BAD. Kill that part of this update. Freejam added this as Camera Control to Robocraft and made it optional. Camera movement control opened the game up to all the tesseract meta which I greatly disliked. Strafing controls should be kept as is.

Yes, I also really like the new physics system.

More like I can’t sleep for more than four hours in a row. While you’re sleeping cozy and quiet wherever you are, I’m probably not, but thanks for your polite concern.

Don’t let the bed bugs bite.

This is like trying to kill a fly with a nuclear bomb.

Forced CC controls applied automatically to multiple different movement parts just for using them is an awful idea that will break far more builds than just the crappy low ps sidewinder hovers that I take huge glee is popping with one side shot.

It won’t be healthy for the game at all in the long run. Whats going to end up happening are 25 ton CC bunkers that will auto track targets just for moving the mouse.

Using anything that doesn’t have CC is Will to end up defunct and build diversity is going to stagnate into a dumbed down point and click adventure as the game handles half the controls by itself. I’ve seen how this goes once already and it happened exactly like that. I have no desire to see it again.

I like the update, and maybe I’m over optimistic. We have all seen their updates go very badly before, so it’s probably good to have reasonable skeptics with logical concerns.

I really don’t have any issues managing the new system. To me it seems like an improvement. I liked the way things handled and looked on the Test Server, and after playing Crossout there, I find I have a lot less desire to play it the way it is on the live server. I logged on last night and played one match. I just wasn’t captivated as much by the way things are presently after seeing how they were on the Test Server.

you couldnt adapt to hovers all this time and you still suck at the game no matter what you play but you want others to “adapt”. you’re the new meta player, a zero skill wannabe.

Who the fuck are you rofl, this concern actual hover lover
Hover are like not even 10% of players, prolly less

Let’s say you are doin it wrong kevin

If this game depends on strafing hovers, let it die for good

WHat

i want to say this.

hovers: have suffered enough. i get that theres many people who dont like hovers, but i dont see hovers as toxic or needing to be nerfed into the ground and back. i really like hovers and love the concept of them. they been nerfed so hard over the years that its become almost impossible for me to play them, anytime i bump literally anything it sends me spinning a full 180, aiming can be very tedious, it overcorrects itself all the time, it is effected more by the terrain, it messes up shots all the time, seriously how awful do you all really want hovers to be? they are apart of the game, stop asking for so many nerfs. i want to make a build from hovers without the entire community being so toxic about it. hovers are not invincible, they arent hard to beat, strip their weapons and then strip the hovers off the car. this is crossout, use your weapons and the environment to your advantage. use team work as well.

legs: they needed a huge buff, they were really under performing. they were really bad on slopes and even now if just one leg isnt touching the ground it slows down alot. i hope thats fixed. i really like legs myself, but theres 2 issues i have with them, 1 is they are very slow and 2 is that they are extremely vulnerable to porcupines. i know legs need a weakness but its just insulting to have someone get up in your face and barf porcs all over on you. (yes i still hate when people do that stupid way of attacking…)

tracks: i havent used tracks in a long time but i really dislike them. mostly i hate the small and triangle tracks as they always flip my build when i turn at high speeds. i notice you have to build a rectangle build with these, making the build flat and wide which isnt my playstyle. the triangle tracks are still useful for armor though. small tracks just go to fast for my liking of tracks and their turn radius leaves much to be desired. i do like the much wider / longer tracks as i havent had much of an issue with them.

wheels: im questioning why their changing up some of the wheels but hey who am i to judge? still im hoping the better traction will help the wheels in turning as my build really needs better traction when going at high speeds. wheels are my most used movement parts in the game (bigfoots) and have been for a very very long time. i used to use treads but i seen how great bigfoots were and never stopped using them. i use hovers now and then on my incinerator build to.

all in all im happy to see change, however hovers do not need to be nerfed anymore then they have. that nerf to them tipping in the direction your flying is going to be brutal to my incinerator build. i have my build tilting forwards for a reason, to better aim my shots. if you change that so it rocks as you fly then how the hell am i going to be able to aim properly? i wont even be able to defend myself properly. id have to drop a kapkan, hope it catches the enemy and run i wont be able to fly backwards to throw an incinerator onto a guy caught on the kapkan cause of the rocking. certain weapons will be greatly effected by this such as incinerators and porcs (though im not complaining about porcs, people dont know how to run them properly anyways.) cannons will suffer greatly and possibly even reaper hovers to. (can you guys imagine the tilt with the kickback of the reapers? someone needs to test that!)

anyways these are just my thoughts. i just hope this update wont break anything or make things worse.
