They probably don’t know a week in advance that something will be “done” tbh. That is how it works. I am sure they have an idea that it should be done by X time, but yeah, plans don’t always work out.

I have no idea what these guys do.
I think they do make up the fuse events. Here’s how it goes: Boss: “Play rate is dipping. We need to hold their interest until the next mini pass.”
Underling: “We have a new pack coming in with a lot of modules for sale.”
Boss: “Okay. Module fusion this weekend. We haven’t had it in four months or so anyway.”

I’m sure it is something like that.
But these guys already understand treads at least a month out.
As much as they crunch numbers and don’t play the game, I’m sure they have that part down.
But at least it is funny to imagine them as brainless.
