I ditched the 2 drones and put a caucasus on the front instead and added both a argus and doppler module as well. Also upgraded the rd-2 keen and considering that the size of the maps are way bigger than regular pvp it should give a big advantage for this game mode.
This build right now contains
-3 pyres, 1 trombone, 1 caucasus, r-2 chill cooler(to cut back a little on ps), doppler, argus module, KA-2 Flywheel, 2 expanded ammo packs, rd-2 keen, apollo Iv generator and the omnibox cab. Been averaging around 2500 points a match with probably a 80% win rate since this game mode came out. I can safely assume that this is definitely my best event yet in crossout. I suck at all the other crossout special events but this one I got entire teamed up coordinated clans just giving up and leaving the game half way thru the match vs me and a bunch of other randoms.
I’m having so much fun with this event that I haven’t even played no raids or regular pvp or nothing. I played it soo much that I’m not even earning a thing after I reached my wire limit. I ain’t gonna earn a thing until this event is over lol that is how addicted and hooked to it I am. This new game mode got me absolutely ruined.
Glad your having fun I did enjoy it the first few days, but I’m not doing something for nothing. A month and a half was way to long for this event, it really should have been added to the weekend brawl rotation instead of being an event.
It seems they have achieved their goal with this event. Many events are time and resource sinks planned by the dev team. This one does it’s job well.
You can only get the new year container once, though… Pity. I’ll probably stop playing the copters and go back to my normal rotation of attempting to maximize Engineer Badge challenges.
I have a new build, Triple Locust on Griffon with cloak and Flywheel as well as an expanded ammo box. This works exceptionally well for farming ground bots, as they often have explosive bits as weaknesses, and Locust blast radius is huge. Also, Mine are fused for bullet speed and blast radius. Also, with the Griffon/ Chameleon combo, opposing Pyre players can largely be ignored. The Locust reloads very quickly as well, so if you do have to engage in air to air combat, you have fighting chances.
Flying Christmas Tree!!! Got 2 kills & 2nd place with it the 1st time out, too! Shot one dude’s prop off, then harassed him to death. LOL The other was bot that dared shoot me while I was killing the other dude.
