Booster buffed weapons, that get a buff when you use boosters, but not during using boosters. Basically you can now run boosters on a build but don’t need to cockpit+booster, like about 99% of builds using boosters. No cockpit, just boosters
Something that shoots projectiles with air pressure, and you “supercharge” the guns by using boosters (going fast-> collects air flow into a turbo charger that adds extra damage to the guns). Fully automatic, no reload/heating/so on, so like that works like a Reaper. You have ammo, when you hold down button it shoots and that’s it. Rate of fire is not super fast though, like Adapter but at 50% speed. So less ammo, fires projectiles continuously but at a slower pace
How the perk works, is that when using boosters, you gain extra damage and projectile speed, up to let’s say for example 20%. You build this up by gaining 1% for every 1 second of using boosters. There is a small start-up time before the perk starts to build up though (for example let’s say 4 seconds), to prevent cheesing, so it’s not instantly start building up the charge, you first have to use the boosters for some seconds to “warm up” up the guns turbochargers with air flow. While you are using the boosters and the guns are charging up their perk, they can’t fire (this makes them anti-cockpit to a degree). After you stop using your boosters (let go of the button) you can shoot them, no matter how fast you are going. The perk stays up for a few seconds (2, so less seconds than it takes to warm up to start charging up the perk, once again for balancing) before it starts to gradually decrease, at the same rate it takes to build it up with boosters (1% for 1 second).
Energy, hp, damage and so on, no idea, it’s either a weapon you want to run 2 + boosters, or 3 + boosters, but not more than that, so maybe 8 or 12. Other than that I was thinking that it’s a pretty agile weapon, has a nice turning speed and so on, so more agility and less hp, rather than a tanky gun that turns slow but has higher hp. But it could work either way.
Nice damage, no real impulse, no explosions, no heat etc added effects, singular projectile or a tight knit projectile cluster like a fully charged nailgun/parser
